You are sick Ian, I had some respect for you but its totally gone now.

(18:24:44) (NouberNou) i hope it wasnt a suicide!
(18:24:45) (NouberNou) LOL

Yeah. I'm the sick one. I merely said what I implied in my post a few replies ago.

Posted by Dervish on Mar-12-2006 19:01:

Its a shame for anyone to die this young. No matter how good or bad they are.

It's also a real shame for his family. I doubt they'll read this though. But it is.

I didn't really know him or anything so I'm not going to get too gushy about it, but I'd think any negative references about what he was like on here would be in the poorest possible taste.

(and any little flamewar type stuff can be done in PMs surely rather than here eh?)

But really, he didn't do that much wrong, sure he was annoying, but I am far more annoying, even you Nut are more annoying than he was.

You are already attempting to start a flame war. That is not the point of this thread. If you think I am more annoying than he was, send it to the PM and justify it there. This thread is not the place for it.

WTF? Keep me out of your issues, freak.

I say if Ian or Nou or anyone else wants to hide faces, than please delete this thread and make a new one. Not many people have read this thread by now, you guys can make a neat clean thread with minus flames.

I don't have anything to do with this topic as I really have no idea who the person you're discussing even is. Yet you've somehow managed to get me involved.

I would highly recommend you to take action in this matter before I do. I will not take this lightly.

No, this is a thread now to justify what sick fucks are on this board. I know you didn't wish death on him, maybe no one did, but that some people find happiness in his passing because of the stuff he said on an internet forum... its really really sick in my opinion.

This is a thread to not take life for granted. wtf. dont post if you dont have anything constructive. Keep flames and ideas on anyone else in the IRC or PM. Is it that hard to ask for?

Posted by Ian on Mar-12-2006 19:09:

Nou. that only shows what i've actually said now. You're bitching about us having no 'taste' yet bringing things up to cause shit in a thread. that makes you a hypocrite, if you actually gave a fuck in this issue you'd just leave it & not try to bait me or nik to reply.

Posted by Dark^Tremor on Mar-12-2006 19:09:

oh this thread won't be locked.

Hitler died, a few million people were more than happy when that happened and a lot more people wished him dead.

OK what Hitler did is way more than this joker ever did (or will do) but the essence is the same.

Treat ppl how you would like to be treated yourself, if you want ppl to like you then don't talk shit to them or about them anywhere wether in real life or on an internet forum.

If someone finds happiness in this idiot passing away then its probably for a very good reason and personal to them.

Its the same as everything else nou, different ppl have differing views on everything, no need to make a crusade about it or to start a flame war in this thread about it

I didn't know this person, but it pains me to see people die at such a young age.

Humans are meant to die old.

Posted by noikeee on Mar-12-2006 19:26:

My personal conviction is that it is not right to desire, or to be glad with anyone's death unless they participate in inflicting big suffering to other people (although I respect others' convictions on this matter). That is not to say I liked this guy's online personality, which I clearly didn't, but that is not anywhere near reason enough for me to see this as something else than a very sad event. I hope he didn't suffer in his death and feel 28 years old is far, far too soon. May he rest in peace.

(if by any chance this story is fake, which i don't think it is but anyway, i'd be glad it is fake but very annoyed with whoever came up with it)

Not true...

Humans, without the help of modern technology, should only live into their 40's.

Do you think it is natural that we last well into the ages where we are rotting and decaying as we live?

Neo, I don't think anyone can justify happiness of anothers misfortunes, unless that person had made your own life unbearable... like your example, Hitler.

A guy who gave some people a hard time on an internet forum certainly doesn't deserve to have his death celebrated. That is ludicrous.

I think this is a lack of recognition of the seriousness, and finality of death. I wont even go there.

Given the right sanitary conditions, humans should live as long as their heart can pump, which can be anywhere from 70-100 years. Europeans lived up to about 40 years old in the middle ages because they lived in shit holes (Almost literally). But around the same time, native americans lived well into their 80's.

RIP Buddy, you may have been a wanker on here but people do much much worse in the REAL world!

Shame that it wasn't Nou that died instead, i mean...doctors are useful!

Most of us prefer to wait until the day someone hits the suspend button

It should've been Nou, like in war, the ugly people should be in the front line.

...

Here we go

Common Ian I'm not that bad, There are worse posters than me like ragdat, beat n beeps and smokeape.

Posted by Dark^Tremor on Mar-12-2006 19:44:

i'd be glad if a devout christian person died. by their book at least, they're going to paradise. so why shouldn't i be glad. there is no certainty about what happens after death. death could be better or worse or the same as life. the only things we know about death is that it is the end of life, and that everyone dies eventually. beyond that, nothing is known with enough certainty about it to mark everyone who is glad for it wrong. true, he went long before the average mortality age of his time and place, but what if death brought him more happiness than he could ever find in life? should you not be happy for his death then? well?

further, you can't really provide a valid reason why everyone should feel bad because this person died, even if before his time. people die in worse ways and earlier every day, people you've never heard of and never will hear of. does pretending you're a good person by paying your 'respects' to this stranger from the internet make you feel better about yourself for ignoring the many others who you have no remorse for not caring about? this guy has real friends and family in his life who will mourn his passing, hold a funeral, cry about it, and all that good stuff, as do each of us. that's as much as most people will ever get in death. why should this guy be extra special?

Posted by RandomGirl on Mar-12-2006 19:44:

I would also like to point out that a lot of people on this forum will quickly choose the side of the other person when the other is someone who they dislike, regardless of whether they are right or wrong.

For example:

It seems to me that because Neo doesn't like Nou, he is more willing to take the opposite conviction to that of Nou's, simply because that is what Nou feels. Not entirely because that is Neo's personal convictions.

That seems pretty silly to me. Why don't people put their judgements aside and think for themselves for a little while?

I do not like or dislike Nou. However, I know that it probably is not good for my standing to side with Nou. Yet, I don't give a rat's ass, and why? Because I am stating what my conviction is, and it just happens to be similar to Nous. That is what it comes down to.
