Its a shame for anyone to die this young. No matter how good or bad they are.
It's also a real shame for his family. I doubt they'll read this though. But it is.
I didn't really know him or anything so I'm not going to get too gushy about it, but I'd think any negative references about what he was like on here would be in the poorest possible taste.
(and any little flamewar type stuff can be done in PMs surely rather than here eh?)

Nou. that only shows what i've actually said now. You're bitching about us having no 'taste' yet bringing things up to cause shit in a thread. that makes you a hypocrite, if you actually gave a fuck in this issue you'd just leave it & not try to bait me or nik to reply.
oh this thread won't be locked.

I didn't know this person, but it pains me to see people die at such a young age.
Humans are meant to die old.
My personal conviction is that it is not right to desire, or to be glad with anyone's death unless they participate in inflicting big suffering to other people (although I respect others' convictions on this matter). That is not to say I liked this guy's online personality, which I clearly didn't, but that is not anywhere near reason enough for me to see this as something else than a very sad event. I hope he didn't suffer in his death and feel 28 years old is far, far too soon. May he rest in peace.
(if by any chance this story is fake, which i don't think it is but anyway, i'd be glad it is fake but very annoyed with whoever came up with it)

I know some of you guys can't wait until I die, that's for sure.
RIP Buddy, you may have been a wanker on here but people do much much worse in the REAL world!
Shame that it wasn't Nou that died instead, i mean...doctors are useful!

It should've been Nou, like in war, the ugly people should be in the front line.

Common Ian I'm not that bad, There are worse posters than me like ragdat, beat n beeps and smokeape.
i'd be glad if a devout christian person died. by their book at least, they're going to paradise. so why shouldn't i be glad. there is no certainty about what happens after death. death could be better or worse or the same as life. the only things we know about death is that it is the end of life, and that everyone dies eventually. beyond that, nothing is known with enough certainty about it to mark everyone who is glad for it wrong. true, he went long before the average mortality age of his time and place, but what if death brought him more happiness than he could ever find in life? should you not be happy for his death then? well?
further, you can't really provide a valid reason why everyone should feel bad because this person died, even if before his time. people die in worse ways and earlier every day, people you've never heard of and never will hear of. does pretending you're a good person by paying your 'respects' to this stranger from the internet make you feel better about yourself for ignoring the many others who you have no remorse for not caring about? this guy has real friends and family in his life who will mourn his passing, hold a funeral, cry about it, and all that good stuff, as do each of us. that's as much as most people will ever get in death. why should this guy be extra special?
I would also like to point out that a lot of people on this forum will quickly choose the side of the other person when the other is someone who they dislike, regardless of whether they are right or wrong.
For example:
It seems to me that because Neo doesn't like Nou, he is more willing to take the opposite conviction to that of Nou's, simply because that is what Nou feels. Not entirely because that is Neo's personal convictions.
That seems pretty silly to me. Why don't people put their judgements aside and think for themselves for a little while?
I do not like or dislike Nou. However, I know that it probably is not good for my standing to side with Nou. Yet, I don't give a rat's ass, and why? Because I am stating what my conviction is, and it just happens to be similar to Nous. That is what it comes down to.
