lol i'd have no friends at all if that was my philosophy. I get on with my friends in other ways though. I mean it's not as if music is the only interest I've got in my life. Just a shame that theyre all part of the "I like all sorts of music" brigade (meaning that they don't really LOVE anything).

Interest is my main interest in life apart from graphic design... Generally from the experience I've had most of the graphic design people are down with good music. Art people rule.

I went out the other day and bought some old Orbital, Underworld, Slam and BT albums, then when i got home, my dad asked me what i got, he looked at them and said "I've got all of these already, have a look" then he opened up his cupboard, and behind the Leftfield, Fatboy Slim and Pete Tong Cd's, there they were.
How cool is that? My Dad is 50 this year.
I usually fall asleep listening to something relaxing like a classical piece or Dark Side of the Moon, or Amnesiac by Radiohead.

...Your dad rocks man.

He's my hero!

I was just in disbelief. The thing is, when i started listening to the albums I remembered hearing them from ages ago when he must of been playing them and Inever knew who they were.
I remember he made up a mix tape for the car and it had Massive Attack and Radiohead on it, and it was the first time i ever heard them, and i remembered loving the songs and now they're two of my favourite bands now.

I grew up listening to music all the time, not edm, my dad would play all sorts of stuff pretty much all day long since he worked from home. When I moved to my aunts house for my last year of highschool I really noticed how boring life is without music...they would only play it if they were entertaining or on weekends and stuff...the TV dominated most of the time...which I hate.

I have my headphones on pretty much any time I dont have to listen to something or talk to someone.

Although it is nice to take a walk in the park or by the beach and just listen to natural sounds for abit.
