Idiot...
well think about the reprecussions if they did work together... and I was not insinuating that because they dont, that they are enemies... I just think that if two phonomenal artists such as PVD and Tiesto worked together that the product would be blissful. So are you saying that there are no projects that the two of them worked together on b/c I find it hard to believe... anyhow you're right about them being two different people and everything, DOOIIII, I'm not gonna argue with you there, but you pretty much saying right there that they do have there differences. Not like I kare tho

no they have never worked together and i doubt they ever will.
a tiesto/pvd colab would never work because each would be more interested in who's name appears in front of the other on the release than producing the track itself.
it would be fluffy cheese anyway...
I don't think Tiesto was referring to the incident with PVD's grandfather dying, because he didn't even spin right after that.
I think he's talking about global DJ's that just stand there and mix with the look on thier face LIKE someone in thier family just died.
Meaning DJ's that aren't lively and don't work the crowd, things like that.
Plus I'm sure that article was written long before PVD's grandfather passed.
You see what I mean?
I know whatcha mean Rob
Oh screw that, I love them both, just not more than Ferry!

| 04-02-2006 Living in Los Angeles There is a clear indirect attack on PVD "some other famous dj's who have the privilege to travel around the world, but when behind the decks look like some family member just passed away" |

| totally direct to pvd, and pvd grandfather died days ago... weird... |

Seems like there is something rumbling.
They will be playing seperatly in San Diego soon on back to back days.
Friday May 12th (Tiesto) and Saturday May 13th (PVD). Both shows are at 4th & B downtown in the gaslamp. It should be some party that weekend.
Maybe they should bill it "Battle of the Bands."

umm after so many replies...
i wonder if the thread-maker finally got his/her reply.
Who likes the Dutch?
:P
Paul and I are still pissed that they split off from Germany 500 yrs ago, its that simple.
They dont wanna play with us, so we dont play with them!

Tiesto is crap btw.

Who cares what they eat for breakfast or what they wear. Deejays are put too highly in some people's lives, they are not God, they are ordinary people with a job that most of us would give our left nut for, which is to play other peoples' records to 1000's of adoring fans, week in, week out. If you have'nt grown facial hair yet or any hell of an idea of that, you should be shot.
Two of my idols in terms of Djing being bashed together like this..i hate that..leave them alone seriously...if they have a fight, then who cares. THey both done so much for the scene and hearing people saying they HATE one of them is terrible, unless you're Eddie/Oakie/Sasha then dont comment
(closes the lid on his bailey's cap..)
6 month bump with nothing relevant to add = Closed.
