Never.

I only wear pristine WHITE wifebeaters. I'm very particular about my wifebeaters.

Will only wear Scots too. The very best in wifebeaters if you ask me!

When camping, I'd sooner clean a steak knife on my shirt than my wifebeater.

Jem

does that mean that you wear the wife beater over top of the shirts so that you can show it off or do you wear it underneath so that you can protect it?

+1

I have a friend who went to a wedding and they did this.

They booted all the old people out and jammed all night long.

Haha this is so wierd b/c I think about this stuff ALL the time! Haha

Well...I love the oldies...all kinds...50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s...everything! So I was thinking of doing some sort of theme where we start with the 50s and play some of the popular tracks, then move on to the 60s, 70s and such throughout the night. By the end of the night we'll be playing some house music to end it off.

Not only will you get to hear all sorts of types of music...I think this would really work well with the entire crowd of people there. The older people are not going to want to listen to house music for the most part, so they'll get to enjoy themselves as well with some of the classic songs that they know. They'll also most likely be the ones leaving the earliest, so by the end of the night it'll mostly be the younger people...my friends and such and we'll all love the house music jams.

I would love to throw trance in there, but I don't think that would be good for a wedding. So with house at least I get my share of EDM.

Serbian folk music and gypsies with lots of booze, broken bottles, guns and lotsa crying LOL.

like they say back home "it aint a wedding if there isnt at least 3 wounded people" lol

I'd definitely toss a little Frank Sinatra in there.

Posted by INTRANCE on Mar-21-2006 05:13:

I would have a double reception...one for the family with all the typical wedding hits that i know everyone likes to dance to, and then when the old crowd goes home we start the 2 day after party hehe...Guv, Zone, house party hehe

My sister was named after the Eric Clapton song Layla (although it's spelt Leyla in a compromise my parents reached over spelling, however it's still pronounced the same as the song). She wants to walk down the aisle to the unplugged version... I think that would be awesome!

that's exactly what I would do. you can have the best of both worlds and make everyone happy at the same time.

No way!!

Derek and the Dominoes version all the way!!!

Also: That song is about falling in love with his best friend's wife. Not the best wedding song.

1 band. Who If I ever have to cash to book, its done.

J Boogie and the Dubtronic Science.

Great bandon OM records san fransisco. 1 dj, 1 saxophone player, 1 flute player, 1 tabla player and 1 sitar player. They just rock out the classics and their own more ethnic hip hop type stuff. its the best fusion act ive ever seen. Fucking great show.

I saw them play two dates, Once in Bombay, and once in Goa for this insane wedding I went to. I also chilled out and smoked up with them while they jammed in the hotel

apparently cost them about 20K usd to bring them to india and play those 2 shows...

If you're the groom and want a happy bride you do exactly what I did.... whatever she wants! People say it's your (meaning both of your) day but it's not, it's her's. Let her have it however she wants it.

you're so right... the girl who sits beside me at work has a countdown to her wedding going in her msn name. she's at 90 now but it started at 500+. not one day has gone by where she hasn't made phone calls or talked to the people around her about her wedding. my patience is wearing thin... I can only imagine the poor groom. but it is "her" day and no guy in his right mind should interfere with that.
