thnx for the comments, and for those who doesnt like what we do, there is no need to listen to it and yes i produce the tracks together with a good friend named Anders Mikkelsen, to make that clear.

Tyu = Tony Ullman (Swedish)
Redshift = Johan Vermeulen (Dutch)

any relations with Mika Hakkinen?

Posted by djpaulc on Mar-21-2006 15:42:

i just want to say to the people who come in here abusing producers about their music, give it a rest. even if you don't enjoy someone's music, you should at least respect them for producing the music that they like and for the work they have done to get where they are. i have seen this happen to max graham and dave dresden, where people come on to these forums and slag these producers off and as a result, tranceaddict as a whole loses out cos the producers dont bother with the forums anymore.

i'm a huge fan of niklas' work. i think blue cirles is his strongest piece of production work although im loving his remix of blank & jones - revealed and also of a boy called joni - green astronauts, and from the sets ive heard so far, he seems to be a very promising dj too. having said that, there are other producers on the site whose work i am not particularly fond of but i would never post something negative about them, whats the point?

i just think a bit more respect is needed. these people have made a name for themselves for doing what they love and it is great to see members of the site making it somewhere, so dont force them away.

well said mate, one of the best comments ive seen on TA for a while, and thanks to Ian and Mike Foyle and the rest, for keeping this thread in a tone where it should be. I just saw this thread today, and was already affraid of just seeing yet another "mcprog, you suck, andy moor wannabe" kinda thread.. but thank god it didnt go that way, so far.

That would be quite interesting... even more interesting if you spun together.

Thx Niklas for you time and dedication to the music. I've loved your productions (Ice Beach is still OMFG) and your sets are always very interesting and original. One problem though.... you need to come to Toronto

+1

Hopefully this can be arranged in the future

I had no idea that Niklas was a poster/lurker here...I feel a bit embarassed

Posted by TOR on Mar-21-2006 18:53:

i must admit i'm too fond of his productions but i've always been a fan of his sets. it's a pleasure to watch him behind the decks as well.

Indeed.

I appreciate what Niklas has done in such a short period of time. Like others I don't dig his productions that much but he has some talent for sure. It's also nice to have him post on the forum.

Posted by RickyM on Mar-21-2006 21:13:

How come the other guy who produces with Niklas Harding doesn't get any credit in the artist name...just wondering. Now everyone thinks that Niklas Harding does all his own tracks...

Posted by a98 on Mar-21-2006 21:33:

i personally can't give any respect if someone else produces your tracks and there is no credit of it. i've also heard that niklas doesn't do his own tracks but has other producers.
i don't know who's his producer in butterfly effect but that track sounds 1:1 to "kris o'neil - snowflakes" (produced by "stalker" as far as i know) so i'm guessing they both have the same producer (stalker)

Posted by <tuss> on Mar-21-2006 21:56:

i beleive he said he has co-producers, usually that means that somebody helps you achieve certain sounds and help put your ideas into a finished product. i for one have thought of a ton of differnt ideas for tracks that would be good imo, but have no clue how to achieve that myself with the actual production soft/hardware, so in that case im not a producer, there's no point in hating on somebody just because they have co-workers.

and for the record, ice beach is one of those tunes that just does'nt get old, ive smoked many doobs on the way to work in the morning with that playing in my car. makes for a good day!

Much appreciation to Niklas..loved every production thus far

Played Ice Beach two weekends ago at a small local rave in LA..no doubt it was their first time hearing it and they went nuts..like literally

Thank you for that track its great and always puts me in a good mood and is without a doubt a crowd pleaser
