yeah, that's how i used to feel back in the day. i even liked going sledding. and i'm sure i would now - if i didn't have to drive to the sled hill.

on a side note, most of the snow melted, i think we have an inch or two left - thank God the ground was warm when it all came down.

I wish I had only 5"-10" a year where I live. In Petawawa Ontario we get an average snowfall of 1'7" every week. My back yard has accum ulated 5'6" since December. You guys got it easy.

the pics in original post where from march of 2006....when iowa got around 7+" of snow.

the bump picture was from today, january 2007 where there was like 40 tiny little flakes in my truck.

a large contrast from where i was at just 10 months ago.

it was supposed to be a joke...like i'm comparing the trace amount of snow compared to how much suckier it is elsewhere.

we got like an inch around here 2 days ago, but this is the first time its really snowed since the very beginning of december when we had a bigass 1 ft snow storm come through.

I used to live west of Chicago and know what a ton of snow is like, and find it funny as hell when people get crazy because of an inch or two of snow here in Texas.

Of course friday it's supposed to snow about 7", which is a lot for this area. Not to mention people dont know how to drive in crappy weather here... Well they don't know how to drive in any weather but that's besides the point.
