Now a couple more questions if you all don't mind.

1. Are the COACHELLA camprgounds really noisy? Are there secluded areas or is your tent basically 5 feed away from somebody else's? I'd really like a more secluded or quiet part of the camp area since I want to sleep and not participate in the rowdiness. Any suggestions? because I already bought my COACHELLA camping tix.

2. Are there any shaded areas of the campgrounds? Do other campsites have shaded areas?

3. What is the REAAALLLL age group of the COACHELLA campgrounds? I'm in my 30s.

Sorry for all the questions but I'm travelling from quite a far away place and I'd like to plan.

Thank you very much.

The campground and there is only ONE in the morning is pretty active but obviously dead during the day. At night it's still alright it just depends on your neighbors but your still going to hear things. select a good spot in the section your given that you think is suitable for you. As was said before your assigned a section that's quite sizable and marked on the ground. Inside the section it's a dissaray but getting around to a section is easy. The whole campground is open so there is no shade unless you bring it. As for the age group it's not a big deal it's a bit varied. I didn't pay attention to my fellow campers as I was exhausted. When your coming in and parking I think this was mentioned before, but try and avoid going the main route into the festival (you can spend a couple hours and locals sell drinks & tickets on your way in). Theres an RV parking route you can take that avoids it, and you can go around from the opposite direction as main traffic as there are more parking lots back that way, but adds to some areas more of a hike. Having a great experience there makes all the trouble worth it.

Just one question for me..

I'm planning to just go on Sunday, and I'm going to get dropped off. Is it going to be impossible to get picked up (if ya know what I mean)?

Yes, unless you walk about 2-3 miles to a gas station.

1. I'd say they'd are... Again, I wouldn't camp if you wanted to sleep. But, your 7x7 space is surrounded by other 7x7 spaces

2. No, no.

3. I'd say it leans toward the younger crowd (18-30), but I don't think you'll be out of place.

i know this girl who was approached by two girls during noon time at coachella. these girls were probably in their early twenties and trust me, they were hot! they asked for e and the girl i know, although she wasn't a dealer, hooked them up since she had an extra pill. several dudes flew out of nowhere and busted her. you would have never guessed those two hot chicks had anything to do w/ law enforcement
i felt really bad for her getting busted. since then, when i'm at a concert/rave and strangers ask me if i have anything available (i don't deal but for some reason i'm always asked) i just have to wonder if they are undercovers. also, i never mess w/ strangers when it comes to anything that's illegal at any event

Doesn't work to well either My friend and I bought these 20 channel walkie talkies, about $100 maybe more, just as bad as a cell phone.

It sucks. Even though I don't like to be like this, you have to be mean and not share or help.

Stupid stuff.

I've had mixed luck.
We have the 12channel walkie talkies, and it's impossible to find a channel that is private, so you have to deal with that.
Cell phones seem to work better within a service (i.e. Sprint->Sprint).

But in general, it's a crapshoot.
