I agree. This year seems to be lackluster compared to last. I mean, dude. Last year it was like $25-30 for parking for Space.

Armada night this year - $10
Last Night - $15

Even with Nocturnal and this other new club next to it, this year was less hyped up than last.

You defintely didn't miss much.

how could armada nite be 15$ last year when it was held at spin last year on the beach?

The parking @ Space on Armada night this year was $10, and it was $15 for last night @ Space. That's what I mean. Unusually cheap.

My opinion of last night:

1:00-2:00 am : horrible
2:00-2:30: whatever
2:30 to about 4:00: WOW!!! Some trackes in there were absolutely incredible, like some breaks track and the Filo and Peri song: ordinary moments.

4:00 to 5:00: KILL ME PLEASE. left at 5:00, because not only did he suck so bad, but also had to leave early.

I am sure Edgar brought it, I am so sorry I left early.

Overall opinion: Still had a good time because I hung out and partied with the box crew, however pissed because i paid 60 bucks and wanted more than about 1 hr and a half of good quality music. It seemed to me he was all over place, and when I heard crush twice, I was like WTF?!! There is no need!!!!

Go see him again: extremely hesitant, DEF NOT if it is 60 bucks and FOR SURE if Oscar G is opening. Those were the longest and most dreadful 3 hours of my life!!!! I literally almnost fell asleep sitting on the box. WOW!!! It was horrible!!!! Please, let Edgar open and close, in fact, just let him spin all night

I really dont understand why when a DJ turns #1, it seems to be he does not want to try anymore. Too bad.

If it's one thing I'm glad about, it's the fact that I was running late. I missed most of Oscar the Garbageman's set.

Oh, I'm sure. Edgar can open ANYDAY. Oscar can open up the trash bin and throw himself and his music into it for all I care.

Nah.

1999 - 2003 absolute fire.
2004 - meh
2005 - Kinda added prog to his sound but at least it's high-pitched. I liked quite a bit of it.
2006 - It's still early in the year, and MAYBE that recent loss in his family had something to do with it, just my assumption.

I don't know the full details.

Hey Neil, that really could be it. I mean Tisto on 6/17/04 @ Space. He played that "angry" set and it was due to problems with his fiancee at the time, so PVD's loss COULD have partly to do with it, maybe. I guess instead of canceling his WMC/ULTRA Gigs, he decided to go on with them and mourn later. Eh, I dunno.

Sure you can. Next to the quote button is the edit/delete button. Hit that, then look at the top of the page for the box which is marked "Delete this post."

That's weird. I just did a test post and I was able to delete it with no problems.
