Well during the course of the entire day, not once did I see a laptop being used for the DJ sets. All CDs. There were a pair of Technics turntables but I never saw one vinyl touch them.

I had SUCH a blast at this party. I hope there's something like this again next year.

Ableton fucking sucks!

Or at least for PvD anyway, since he started using it he went down the crapper

He needs to go back to FS2 or go back to spinning CD's or some other shit other than Abelton

Leave that for people who are good at it

Well he uses only the keyboard and trackpad to control it...theres only so much you can do...

But what would ableton have to do with his trackselection?

Well his first Abelton set was in Jan @ Spirits & then Friday during WMC & they both SUCKED

I'm not saying it's the program itself but if he's sucked twice while using it, it might mean he either is bad at it or can't work with good tunes or he's experimenting which he needs to stop.

I think PvD is fine with Ableton now. And look at the tracks he usualyl has lined up in it for his sets...not that man. I think he still mainly relies on Serato.

Anyhow, glad to see the pool party go off well. Was tortured only being a few hours north up in Orlando and not able to go. But had other priorities and don't regret not going. Got engaged.

if that remix isnt sander's then it might be "DJ Infiniti - Looking for Something" which has made somewhat of a comeback :P
