McNiven, who first went public in an affidavit included in a 9/11-related federal conspiracy (RICO) lawsuit filed against Bush and others in 2004, claims his unit was ordered to create the "perfect terrorist plan" using commercial airliners as weapons and the Twin Towers as their target.

First we were told jet fuel was hot enough to melt steel for the first time in history.

That was disproven.

Then we were told that a 'pancake effect' that crushed one floor after another brought down the buildings.

That was disproven.

Now the latest lie is to claim inadequate fireproofing. The firefighter tapes released to the New York Times clearly indicate that right before the towers collapsed the fires were minimal and under control.

The Windsor Building in Madrid burned for nearly two days on almost all its floors. Its structural core was weaker than that of the WTC towers and yet it didn't collapse.



"The building was designed to have a fully loaded 707 crash into it, that was the largest plane at the time. I believe that the building could probably sustain multiple impacts of jet liners because this structure is like the mosquito netting on your screen door - this intense grid - and the plane is just a pencil puncturing that screen netting. It really does nothing to the screen netting."

Frank A. DeMartini, Manager, WTC Construction and Project Management, discusses the fact that the WTC towers were designed to take multiple hits from airliners and not collapse, comparing it to poking a pencil through fly netting, DeMartini was adament that the towers would not collapse.

We have dozens of reports from firefighters and others on the scene who witnessed bombs going before and during the towers' collapse. Larry Silverstein, the owner of the World Trade Center complex, admitted in a PBS documentary that they decided to demolish Building 7 on the day of 9/11, despite the official story of it accidentally collapsing which has remained in place to this day.

Ya its odd that his testimony was ommited from the official report of the 9/11 commision. Also its really odd that the official report doesnt even mention WTC 7 & its collapse. I guess the collapse of a 47 story building doenst need mention.

I try not to come across as a Bush apologist (believe me, there are some policies I don't agree with either) but truth will always eclipse the always previlant misconceptions, despite the person in power and the social/mob political consciousness.

I know all about Northwoods...it was just an IDEA...i dont even think it got to JFK's desk. And it was never about attacking US citizens...it was about faking an attack on US citizens...big difference.

And as far as i know Northwoods did not involve PLANES...watch where u get ur info from...people can forge things.

But again...u have yet to answer why Bin Laden hasnt stepped forward to say it was America who did it. In fact he took the blame for it and admitted it was him...is there something about that u just dont understand....and another question u have not answered is why would they go through all that effort on commiting 9.11 to go to Iraq but not plant WMD...makes no sense.

If it was to get into Iraq, which is was 90% of the conspiracy theories point to well then hy didn't the plotters arrange for the "evidence" to implicate Iraq (a place they're much more eager to invade than Afghanistan)?

The hijackers could have left all sorts of material behind linking themselves to Saddam Hussein. Mohammed Atta's will could have referred to funds and direction from Baghdad.

But no, they link it to Bin Laden?
