I can't believe what I'm reading, but I'm sober right now so I'll take it as gospel. Son of a bitch.

i'd right a lenghty review, but it would be like my man nick's almost verbatim i thought the first three hours he was building real nice, alittle mellow but it was progressing very nicely. the mixing was real clean. than jes came on and it totally disrupted the set to me, it was like a policeman pulling you over while you were on a good ole' sunday joyride. then the set just kinda of flatlined for the next two hours i would say. the visuals were cool but all the ibiza theatrics got kinda of distracting, i swear for 20minutes 90% of the crowd's eyes were transfixed on the girl rope-contortionist. hell even tiesto was staring.

anyways i was about to give up when tiesto just decided to reach into the back of his cd cataglog and pull up some nasty dark, hard tunes. the buildups and crescendos of a few of those tracks were vintage tiesto, i could not stop jumping. the energy was just palpable for those last two hours. very few tracks i could identify, which i LOVE!!!! it was not as good as his last two wmc sets, but it was worth the price of admission just for those last two hours.

great meeting nick(konijn island) and although a small flta turnout, we all had fun.

Glad to hear all the positive reviews making me alot more pumped for the crobar in may parties!!! glad to hear the positivity is back for tijis but the avalon performance man?? i thought that was big time low point but whatever to each his/her own...Glad everyone rocked out just outta curiosity can or would anyone compare it to the epic 2004 WMC SPACE SET!!!!

cool pic.... no i would not put it on the same plateau as the 2004 wmc, that was a set of a lifetime, this one to me was good, but wmc04 was so well structured from beginning to end. imho

I was too tired to go to the Mansion because Ultra wiped me out and I had not yet slept when people were heading to this. Just curious what was the cover charge?

yeah i def agree with this for sat at least. we were thinking the same thing, wow pretty damn good mixing for tiesto, but still some sloppinesss and also a few parts where there was no flow, but overall i think you are pretty accurate in gthat report. but also its kinda sads that we are happy that tiesto showed us he could actually stil beatrmatch sometimes.. it shouldnt even be a question with thsoe djs that high up. oh well

oh and it was cheaper on sat which was FTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW b0p

Posted by Konijn on Mar-28-2006 17:21:

sure sat. was better (cause you saw a dozen tracks out of 60-something?) keep tellin' yourself that lol

people who were there both nights said it's not even close...
