This remix sucks, original is a masterpeice, I gotta agree with Mr Mystery on this one. Producers nowdays are running out of ideas, or I just think that trance needs to change, because it doesnt seem like producers are going to that old classic sounds again. I wonder if producers remix these songs just because it will give that 2006 and people will listen to it. I mean why doesnt Armin play the original which is 1000000000 better then this? NO!! because Adam White did a newer remix and people will like it!!

absolutely gutted tbh.

i was fortunate to track down one of the rare CD copies of the distant voices ep in 97 and thought how amazing it was. angel has and always will be my favourite track across any genre and the DV EP will always be my favourite EP/single. it was amazingly mixed out from fluke on the
northern exposure series by sasha and that was the only comp i knew it to be one.. one of the few amazing mix albums.

these new remixes have really killed what matt first sat off to do, and tbh its his fault from what i understand. 99 mixes of gamemaster i coudl tollerate.. it was the year of trance and gamemaster didnt get full recognistion first time round, this did bring it to the foreground. but the current state of affairs in terms of remakes and remixes takes the piss.

i havent heard this yet, not sure i want to. *sigh* lets just see darey re-release every other track again and again

listened to it now, and yeah it takes away the beauty of the original. it keeps a basic version of the tune with a typical adam white touch. load of bollocks to be honest.

what a shame.

it doesn't ruin the original track, it ruins how trance should be. take an old masterpiece and make it into crap is bad for trance. i havent heard it, but i dont like any adam white or whiteroom songs i have heard, plus how can you anyone top the original?
