PS: Religious self mutilation is nothing new. Just look up Christian Flagellants in 14th century Europe. It does reveal some scary aspect of human fanaticism though.

I know exactly what you mean about the Tiesto threads.

I went and researched Ashurah as well, it seems like this video is a bit much.
