Correction - Radio 1 didn't record anything.

Blackhole recorded the whole set. And released that part of it for Radio 1 to broadcast.

Another part (or the same one) is coming up on this weekend's Radio 538 Dance Department.

prolly a 30 min set, right? thats what 538 usually does. they've done some bigger brodcasts of sets in the past, but lately, they only 30 min broadcasts

It happens al the time, just for promotion. Then the set is sent to basically a thousand radio stations so we're going to hear a zillion rebroadcasts of the same part probably

I wasn't offence towards you, but the perspective of a thousand rebroadcasts the coming months sucks

they (black hole) are prolly gonna use this set to collect cash on their site, with their new system you can listen/view tiesto stuff ... for some sort of credit, which you'll get after paying. iwouldnt be surprised if those credits can be used too to listen to this set 100% in the future (or 99.99999%)

Yeah we wondered that too. Would be useful if they used the system to release monthly etc. livesets. And they would actually make a lot of money from us "real" fans in that way.

yeah well, i dont know how legal you are, but the best idea to me seems that 1 pays for the set, goes to tiesto's site, plays it, rips its via his sound card, and shares it with us ... of course, we all pay him

if no one should do it .... there will always be a dumbass who does. just like what happened with all the trance energy sets. its just a matter of time. but with black hole, it can take yyyeaaarrrrsss :S

I'm assuming you have Tiesto - Goldrush.

I'm also assuming you have zero credit

If sets were released frequently a system of buying could be introduced.

Anyway - at 500 credits minimum (and single tracks @ 10 credits)... the legal people already got shitloads left over to help in such a plight.

What's the name of the track that Tiesto played at the beginning of his set at Cream, Amnesia last summer? He also played it this night. Many thanks.

hey michael

i dont exactly understand what you just meant. anyway, i have the goldrush track yes. i also have zero credit. i think its a stupid idea to ask money for recorded livesets. but thats just my thought. on the other, i can understand why they ask money for it; if you would've went to an event, you would've payed your ticket too ... but anyway, i still think its lame. going back to your reply; explain yourself a bit more .. i dont understand your reply really ... :S

If you have the track, but zero credit - you obviously illegally obtained it

Unless of course you brought another 49 tracks too. (minimum credits you can buy is 500...)

Point being, those that did legally obtain Goldrush would have enough credits left over to supply the remainder of the community with all the livesets from the site anyway - as they use up their initial "purchase" of credits.

begrijp het nu?
