Booooo! Boo this woman. Boooooooooo!

I get by without any stronger supplement than Red Bull, too. Proof that you don't have to be a crackie or cokehead to enjoy the party. You've just got to be inspired.

totally excited!!!!

i'm going to try and go to the afterparty for a bit, but not sure how long i can stay since i'm apartment hunting on saturday

Usually, it's the VODKA part that gets me in trouble and sends me home early lol

Get there early enough and there should be tix at the door!

if anyone wants to head to APT around 8-9am, let me know. I might take an easy night stay in and wake up early and head to APT.

Cielo doesn't usually start filling up until closer to 1am, so you should be ok at midnight. I'm not sure how many tickets they plan to sell at the door though. Maybe you could call the club for more details if you're worried.

If you really want to go, go earlier than that to guarantee you'll get in. Like 11-11:30.

I don't know who's opening, but I could see Willie Graff, who plays on a lot of Fridays taking the role. He opened for Sasha & Digweed @ Crobar last weekend and was really enjoyable. I think he would go well with Lee's sound, so it might be worth it to catch some of his set.

OMG Lee kicked so much ass at both venues. We went to Cielo at about midnight, got in right away with advance tix. Stuck around there until a bit after 4, when he'd played 2 tracks of his encore. Then we went to a diner on 14th and 9th and grabbed food before heading to APT for the afterparty at 5:30. Got in right away and found a seat before it got really crowded. Stuck around until about 8, when I got the hiccups from a combo of all the carbonated beverages and the smoke inside the venue. Damn Red Bull, it was supposed to keep me in the game longer... Went outside and got 2 minutes of fresh air and was set to go, but Barosoap was annoyed with seeing sunlight so we came home. Probably a good call because we'll be well rested for Tejada tonight. We were really hoping Howells would show up, but I imagine we left too early for that. For $25 each total at both venues, tonight was so worth it. I just wish we hadn't left APT so early, but sometimes the body doesn't agree with the mind. I hope everyone had as much fun at Crobar.

i wish my old ass could have made it to APT

lessons learned from my first night out in nyc - wear sneakers, cielo has a kick-ass sound system (probably one of the best i have heard anywhere - it was soooooooo clear and the bass sounded fuckin' sick at times), don't go home before afters to change shoes cuz it was too easy to just say "fuck it" and go to bed and finally i still absolutely LOVE leeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

he threw a really good set - lots of variety - house, tech-house, minimal, techno - he played a lot of the minimal/techno bombs - including loco dice's new release on m-nus (not yet released, but hammered at wmc)

thanks to groundhog boy and barosoap - great to meet you and you guys are so nice and welcoming to this big city

hopefully i will see you tonight at tejada (with sneakers!)

and btw - there is a lot of crappy apartments in nyc

lee played a great set. i love cielo, it is such a great club. i had no problem getting in, as i was worried b/c i didnt have advance tix. my friends did, so the bouncer was really nice and let me go in with them. no wait, nothing.

i only went to cielo, not APT, but i had a great time.

thanks, but i found a place!!!! it's way uptown (96th street), but i love it - 20th floor facing south/southeast - lots of windows so it's a bright apartment. after seeing how expensive apts in chelsea area were and UWS - the UES is really a much better deal IMO.

wonderful! UES apt's are usually a better bang for the buck apartment wise, actually i was hanging out there on friday night and it seemed pretty lively but for me, there's just something about living in the UWS, something about living near broadway and amsterdam that i can't escape...lol

well congrats on the place, must be a lovely apartment with a ton of closet space for all those shoes LOL.....

Wonderful meeting you too Kristin! Hope to hangout with you again. Sorry Cielo was more chaotic than usual. Also, nice seeing Alyssa, Blitz, Drew and company =)

Lee was on point. I haven't seen him since the Arc closing party, but he dropped one luscious house track after another. He didn't dabble much with minimal, which was fine because he had a really good flow going. A+ for the crowd as usual except for one guy who fell on the floor and was bleeding. Not really sure what happened there, but security hauled him out quick and everyone got back to enjoying the party within minutes.

The afterparty at APT was surreal. We didn't have any issues at the door and made it in before it got too crowded. It was a distinctly afterhours crowd, the kind starts their night at 6am. It was cool to be able to smoke inside w/o worrying about getting kicked out but there was no ventilation at all, so we were suffocating pretty early on. Lee continued the vibe from Cielo. The sound there was pretty good considering the speakers were so small but the low cieling probably helped preserve the integrity of the sound. Lee's such a fun, playful guy making bunny ears for pictures, etc. I believe Bill Patrick was also spinning w/ him. By the time we left around 8, they were already sharing the decks for a nice easy tag team.

I have a few pictures and will try to post them tonight. Already looking forward to the next Lee night!

yes - major factor was closet space and safety for me - i'll be working late. and i do love the place - 20th floor and faces south/southwest with lots of windows

i'll definitely have a preparty for the armin-only gig in july - freezel is coming over and staying with me so we gotta show him how nyc ta's party (and me too!)
