Trance fell off, period

What is it with housers trying to claim their turf and/or proclaim their dominance/inferred superiority? ...similar to a snotty little kid who doesn't receive enough attention in class and has to cause a ruckus in order to be heard.

Down with genre whoring.

Everyone has their own tastes when it comes to music. There is nothing wrong with house music, trance has been kinda blah lately, and cause of that other genres are picking up the slack, house included. My two cents.

prog >> (trance=house)

for me

house is good to move to in the right state of mind at a club...

but trance is awesome to just listen to in the car or whenever.

(trance != house != techno) == <3

all subgenres included...like tribal and minimal

Basically there is no energy and no emotion in house and what pisses me off is when morons bash trance because it is cheese and it is sad because these are the same people that used to love trance before.
Right now it is very cool to hate trance and you aint cool if you listen to it.It is a trend thing and it will end soon I hope.

Trance music is getting better and better you just have to look a little and dont judge trance based on Dj's like Tiesto or that garbage that Markus Schulz plays.

Don't get me wrong. I love listening to trance, always have and always will. It's just my preference is the trance from 98-02. That is the trance I love, and it seems that what is being produced in the past few years is more of a blend of other genres. I'm not saying that trance sucks now.

I was all joking about all these trance house stuffes but you seem to be very serious about concepts that you believe.

you really think house has no emotion!?..If you don undertsand a music it doesn't mean that it's shitty. like even though i don understand heavy metal i always respect them and believe it has hell lot of emotions that aren't suitble with my character.
Maybe house is just not you'r thing ,but definetly house is full of emotions.
