They might be a bit expensive, but Ultrasone DJ1Pros are outstanding. The DJ1s are also excellent, and are quite a bit cheaper.

Mine broke. After two years, but I take exceptionally good care of my headphones.

I replaced them with the new Denon HP-1000. Definitely a lot sturdier/beefier.
