one week to go!

Posted by tathi on May-05-2006 01:23:

Habit Friday and Grunts 21st on saturday, going ot be a crazy weekend!

Posted by geordieboy on May-07-2006 06:45:

5 days left, woot

We have another late addition to the line up to announce - VJ S.A.W (Popuptrash) will be on hand doing live visuals in the main room. S.A.W (Stefan) is a German guy working over here for 2 months on a visuals project at Darling harbour and is the same guy who did Filth's visuals for their first birthday last weekend - by all acounts he's outstanding so great to making use of some top European talent while they're in town

Extra sound and production coming in for this one too - it is truly going to be a massive nite and can't remember ever feeling so amped for a show we've put on.

Bring on Friday!

This Habit yes there is extra sound coming in jace - in the way of an extra stack and two nexo bins.

The nexo bins you often see at big concerts because of the amazing power and crystal clear quality you get from them, and this allows us to get the "wall of sound" effect going, where you walk down the stairs and get blown away by the power and clarity of the sound hitting you. I honestly don't think I've heard better sound in Sydney when we get this rig in apart from maybe at Home on the Digweed nite, and even that was only in certain spots.

The great thing I love about our sound engineers when they bring the extra rig in is how clelverly they EQ the room to match the dynamics of the venue - its like the whole room has a sizzle to it. You'll be blown away , trust me !

Anf are you taking photos again? PM me if u are

Posted by geordieboy on May-14-2006 03:07:

thanks

thanks a lot to everyone who came down for a great night on Friday. The quality of the music was phenomenal, Matt Rowan and then Jaytech's wizardry on Abelton blew me away, and then Adam Jace followed on with a set every bit as good

Second Nature was also a big success, Nath really enjoyed what choons I heard from you, and good skills for having only one CD player for the start of the set! hehe

next Habit on the queens birthday weekend will feature Robbie Lowe - full details TBA
