I know many places and many teams make this claim, but every hockey fan find the Detroit/Edmonton game tonight... you will experience the craziest, loudest, most intense arena ever!!! We Oiler fans are fuckin jacked up for tonight. You will not see anything like it, trust me.

PS. FUCK YOU LEAFS AND CANUCKS!! How are the links??? BITCHES!

yea unfortunately it looks like the devils are playing some really good hockey. They've been hitting well, rotating constantly, and have put a ton of shots on goal.

last night maybe a fluke with the 2 short handed by madden, but i do admit the momentum has swung in nj's favor. we'll see tomorrow in the garden, hopefully the rangers can grab 2 at home and take it back across the river. it'd be nice to see jagr tender that shoulder through tomorrow and maybe the garden can inspire him and the rangers to get hot.

i think the only man to fear on the devils is brodeur, this guy is mr playoff's.

devils have been more than a one line team since elias came back from illness and was split up from gionta and gomez. if you look at the breakdown since they started their streak, line one has had 28 goals and the second line 20...plus another 8 from madden's line. they have come together at the right time and brodeur is just brodeur as always.

by the way...Jagr said in one of the NY papers today he is out for game 3....it's not looking too good for the rangers right now.

I've been to some pretty big sporting venues in my life. Yankee Stadium, Maple Leaf Gardens, Joe Louis Arena (Red Wings) and the old Forum, as well as the new Bell Centre, in Montreal. Now, nothing I've ever quite gone to in N. American compares to seeing an England game or an FA Cup Final (Man United and Everton in 1995) at Wembley, but if we're talking North America, there is no way anything is crazier than a hockey game in Montreal. The Bell Centre is the biggest rink in the league and they sell out every game. Fanatics I tell you!

considering everyone expectations of the Rangers this season, it's stil looking MUCH better than the early part of this decade when we were trading for just about every over the hill superstar.

That's the thing. We sell out every game, but the stadium is smaller and it echoes like hell in there. We have about 3000 less fans than every other arena yet are much much louder.

I'm sure all 18,200 of them enjoyed watching the rangers get shut out tonight too

Posted by Thierry on Apr-28-2006 01:43:

Record level of noise Tuesday in Edmonton... 108 DECIBALS!!! Can Montreal come close?? Doubt it

Posted by halexander837 on Apr-28-2006 14:57:

Too bad though they lost yesterday

Posted by partyhopper on Apr-29-2006 21:39:

Devils are the first team to advance, with a sweep of the Rangers, outscoring them 16-4
It's their first ever playoff series win over the Rangers

Not a good return to the playoffs for the Blueshirts, after a 9-year absence
What an awful collapse to end their season, losing their last 9 games

Meanwhile, Devils extend their winning streak to 15 games

unlike the Rangers, the Flyers managed to right the ship in time, and evened the series at 2-2

If the Habs win the series and Ottawa wins tonight, it will be Montreal vs Ottawa and Devils vs. Flyes/Sabres

Broduer is in a zone right now.

I guess my pick for the Rangers to win was a little cocky.

Still going with Carolina. Sorry Habs

Buffalo... yes, im still sticking with Buffalo.

Av's upset Stars, 4-1
from what I heard of the radio broadcast, seemed like a stunning end for Dallas, as they lost the last game in OT, at home

Oilers have a chance at a similar upset tomorrow, against Red Wings

Senators also advance, eliminating the Lightning, so there will be new champion this year

Posted by Eddie N MIAMI on May-01-2006 02:37:

one more and the Flyers are out

oh and Go Scott Gomez!

edit : the team im rooting for from here on out the Sharks just beat Nashville 2-1 as they win the series, yay

Avalanche plow over Dallas

Calgary takes down Anaheim

Nashville hooks up the Sharks

now for the East

Senators fry the Champs

Hurricanes blow by Montreal

Rangers over Jersey

Sabres roll by Phily

So far, two of my bets have been erased, two are secure.

Now all i have to do is watch and wait for the rest.
