i like the new look
i guess no huge headliners like last year, but should be worth checking out anyways

I grew up on MX parties back in the day. They always had the wickedest music/stages at some of the old Summerloves.

It's smart getting crews from outside of VAncity. Getting Okanagan peeps interested doesn't hurt Shambahla.

I know a bunch of friends who are going to Apex & Summerbreak because of the promo you guys are doing. MOst peeps in the interior had never heard of Apex or Summerbreak.

Bay last week and took 291 shots. My record was in Prague where

Maggie's got some wikkid taste in ELECTRO .. and it was
her mix acctually 'Solar Rythym' that set me onto the genre.
The first 30 minutes of this mix [DOWNLOAD] is absolutely
fenominal. Amazing track selection, and from what I hear after
having it reviewed by 2 DJ's, her mixing is really good as well.

It's unfortuante I missed most of her sets but look forward
to upcoming bookings, especially @ Summer Break!
( where I'll only take 2 pictures! .. I swear! .. hehehehe )

krys, this is not an electro-house stage
lange is good, so dont be a timur, krys

i highly doubt gtr will be the super secret mystery headliner, altho, i could be wrong

the TA contest will probably involve TAs submitting demo mixes

Honestly, for an outdoor event with all em stages ..
The headliners seem very weak .. although it'll be good

Nothing wrong with that, there's some good unknown-to-the-world
talent out there but .. for this event someone should bring out
a power-hitter to sell this motha' out and begin to compete
on a global level. There's so much potential here in these
areas but ALL promoters are sleeping on em ..too bad for us all.

WEMF is doing slightly better, with anne savage and JOOF.
Which is great but, only really if you're into hard style I guess.

krys, you're a good guy, i like you, but im sorry, that statement was just not nice.

everyone does what they can and if some promoters dont have the budget to bring tiesto-sized dj to the city they should not be criticized for that. especially if they make an effort to keep the little of the trance scene we have left in this city.

krys, i know you're thinking im saying this because im in the 'union clique,' whatever that is. i would say it about any promoter.

its not about bringing the biggest name in the industry, its about the music and often times people forget about that, and that's sad

Everyone is entitled to thier own opinion, but Krys really needs to learn to shut his yap.

He knows absolutely nothing about how the scene in Vancouver works, or how the economics of a clubnight or massive party work either.

By all means.. if he wants to keep the smart ass replies coming, I will put him in his place everytime.
