Hi kids-

With conference starting today and me still feeling super sick, my updates to the original post and contributions may be minimal at first, but as I start to feel better I'll be on it more frequently.

Look for a MASSIVE update either late tonight or very early tomorrow morning, that will include all user updates (Including Yan's PBP of the Sony and Nintendo [that is, if you're going to catch it] conferences as well as all his other sweet little news items) as well as new stuff from me.

I want to stress now more than ever that with conference starting, and rumours flying, SOURCES are more important than ever. I'm hoping to have a comprehensive overview of E3 2K6 when we're all done that's accurate and useful.

Wait..according to the official GTA4 website..the game hits both the PS3 and 360 simultaneously in October 2007. They even got the exact day down, but I dont remember what it is. i think its the 18th.

am i misunderstanding something...?

Yesterday I watched that whole E�-press conference movie from nintendo on gamespot. Actually I have to say I have some mixed feelings about Wii.

Until now it has always been nintendo's target to outperform playstation on the graphics level; and now they've completely given up the struggle. Do you consider this as a good thing ? I dunno. Luckily this will cause the console to be MUCH cheaper than the other 2; but maybe the gap between them will be too big...

They have a point that their gameplay will be totally new; and it's cool they developped such a remote controllers; but when I saw them play these games I wasnt actually really convinced.
Picture yourself playing that tennis game in your living room and you're just waving that controller everywhere around you... Wouldnt it make you feel odd or something ? People will think you have spasms, lol

I used to be a diehard nintendo fan; I own all their consoles... The only thing I only liked about Playstation were the Final Fantasy series; which I played several times at my neighbour's house. But now I'm not convinced anymore that nintendo will have a console that's a good competion for Microsoft & Sony... Well; I will by a Wii anyway (fuck thath name ); I'm curious if i'm gonna like it. I really look forward to the new zelda though... And i always enjoyed the multiplayer since I have 3 brothers...

And goddamn, please let that new nintendo final fantasy game be GOOD; cause I HATED "chrystal chronicles"; it was worth nothing...

Any thoughts from you guys ?

I was totaly blow�n away by Wii and i might actualy consider buying it. eeing as how the last console i bought was N64 and after that one just coudnt be bothered anymore it really convinced me that it could be great.

When i was watching the Zelda prewiev i was like that looks great and the sword fight in that FPS That is just amazing. Im really looking forward to this one.

Not to mention that it will be cheaper than PS3...600� they must be insane

There's no more exclusivity for GTA.

Something caught me by surprise: Motion tracking controls? Competition for nintendo's new controller maybe? If so, this is a smart move, and microsoft probably scrambling to make one of their own.

The controller has six-axis sensing functionality.
