Ha, it looks like we have unearthed the next PVD here. At least in 5 years time we all can say to other people,"Yeh, that Matthew Seagrave, I used to post on the same messageboard as him"

Hey DJ Sea

I listened to your tracks on myspace, not bad for a 16 year old, and they sound nice enough.

However you might want to tone down the way you post, to be honest you come accross as quite arrogant mate, how about you just let the music do the talking instead of bumming and bragging about it?

Anyway good luck with your future stuff mate.

I hope this was a way of being sarcastic.

Dj Sea I know you are new here but before posting anything as bragging as this it would be wise to hear stuff of other producers on this forum. Yes you make nice music but you really get owned by a lot of producers on this forum who do not see colours and call it synasthesia haha. Let the music do the talking mate, I am glad you love your own music, that is always a good start but your tracks are nothing original or special so far.

Please tone down your way of posting on this forum, otherwise I fear you won't last long on here.

Good luck and welcome on TA

I dont really see anything wrong with how he posts. He is 16 and already has his own record label. That is pretty dam hot and I would be full of confidence if I had the same. Mellow out guys and let him enjoy what he has made for himself.

An Nomen, it wasn't sarcasm. If he stays on track, I think he will be huge when he is older.

eep.

didnt mean to come accross big headed. i just have passion for music...

and yeah, i have taken the time and had a listen round. and your right, people do own my ass around here production wise. and one day i hope to sound as good as them. which is why i pursue my music relentlessly.

again, didnt mean to sound big headed.

good production wise although a bit commercial for my liking.

bragging doesnt go well round here.

an joey i couldnt see anyone compare to pvd hes too much of a legend but to come close to him would be good.

just listened to different tracks of yours like that search track although the vocal doesnt work.

your tracks sounds good but they lack a hook. you seem to use similar arps in your tracks.

overall good shit for a 16 year old. i wish i had started producing all them years ago.

good luck!

Thanks!

in what way does the vocal not work? melody wise or atmophere wise? if its melody wise i could tune the vocal to the right key, (thats if it IS in the wrong key, i think it fits well)

Hi there!
Cool to see your 16 years. I started when I was 13-14 years! but, enough of that! to the music.

The Synesthete: way to booooring! nothing new... sorry! same arp going, makes me crazy in the head!

See The Darkness: the bass is to weak. and the vocoder voice is being out of that, and it seems like its the same as the one in Synesthete. but over all, its cool! fits to the track. (is it you?). dont like the pads. same with the kick. feels like an old impulse tracker kick! and.. please, change the arp sometimes. its the same as in Synesthete. and not so much variation. in this one to.

Search: hm. a bit better kick but dont like that lead sound there. make more variation better pads, but not good! to much plastic sounding! the lead is weak! somehow ruins the song. nothing particularly with the percs either.
that bass is okey.

Enchanted Paradise: heheh.. well! same as the others. make more variations. its better. but not good!

Organised Chaos: just okey. 303 sound is fine! funny to hear something else then trance. something tells me that you use alots of samples? like that 303 sounds! but, its just me

Psylocog: I realy hate the kick you use! sorry. is it 4 bits? or 8 bits wav sample? same as the others "make more variations. its better, but not enough of it.

A Star Falls: the one who realy catched me of all those tracks. until the lead comes. the bass the kick is cool! try to lower the master volume a bit. or lower the lead that comes in at 01:21. its not good!!
sorry mac. to booring to listen at for a while.

Look to the heavens: to much reverb, kick is not audible. that lead was a bit cool. but the whole song goes away in the whole reverb. got some reverb on the main out?
somehow. you shuld make more on the melody, it got so many more ways to do it think of that!

to the part you sell music.
you shuld feel privileged that you sell your music. because I dont see why you do it? because its not that good in my opinion.

Ryan
