I was gonna get the 2007WFP (20" widescreen) but there is a banding issue with it described on the Dell forum, so no order. Also I guess I'd need a new video card since it's 1680x1050 & my ATI 9700TX doesn't cover that resolution.

I notice 19" widescreen LCDs are appearing in lots of stores but DEll doesn't have one yet, could be a nice size and inexpensive.

I've got 2 M992 19" CRTs, they're good but really heat up the room! I think the regular shape screens either CRT or LCD aren't optimal, even at 1280x1024 you can't really get 2 program windows on the screen, might as well wait for the right widescreen LCD to be available.

Anyone noticed if the image on a LCD monitor is much better with DVI (digital) compared to the standard analog VGA connector?
