I'm happy for any canadain team to advance i was really discusted by some of the ppl in the pub in downtoan toronto, i was watching the last ottawa game and when they lost in OT a bunch of ppl got up and cheered and they didn't cheer that buffulo won they cheered FUCK Ottawa! anyways i'm a die hard leafs fan but i rather see ottawa win then buffalo! i'm gettings side tracked here i'm glad to see that Edmontons hard work is paying off comming in 8th and taking out the wings and now the sharks ...... another interesting tidbit of info since edmonton has moved to the conferance final this is the first time in NHL history that all 4 teams in the conferance finals did not make the playoff the previous year.....

As happy as I was to see them advance this round (I did predict this in our pool - lol), im afraid this is the round the Oilers are truly outmatched. After the first round, I predicted Anaheim to make, AND WIN the Stanley Cup.... and I stand by it today.

Anaheim in 5.

ftw.

They will then go on to beat Carolina in the Stanley Cup in 6.

Never, Edmonton will take this series, and it will end up Edmonton vs Buffalo in the finals.

I'm liking Edmonton in 6 and Buffalo in 6. Then Edmonton to win cup in 7.

screw that

their goalie is hot right now but will ultimately not come through; by next hear he'll be a distant memory, just like JS Gigiuere (or however you spell his last name)

Posted by DigitalMP on May-19-2006 19:08:

Edmonton in 6, Buffalo in 6.
Buffalo in 6.

Though I'd like to see Anaheim beat Edmonton, because then my fantasy league victory is all but certain.

Just watching the interview now!

Extremly, but it's only the first one.

this is still early to decide
they won the first game they but still might lose energy in the next few days. They are pumped though, you can tell.

Good Luck to you and your team.

The only reason why I hope Edmonton wins this round is cuz I don't think ANY team should have the name the "mighty ducks"... let alone win a cup with that name.

Roloson is still in the zone big time, and you can tell Edmonton is still riding the high from their last series. Anaheim came out flat, but started getting things clicking in the third..... couldnt get anything by Roli.......

The Oilers got absolutely punished physically though.... and i'd be really surprised if they came out swinging like the did in game one.

But going back home up 2-0 the place will be electric in Edmonton, this game will cement the series for the Oilers.
