Anyone have an opinion on these three mixers? Is the Pio really worth the extra money over the Vestax mixers?
The 300 isn't worth it. I wouldn't recommend that at all.

The 400 is worth it over the VMC-002, but not the 004 if you need 4 channels. If you don't, then yeah, it's definitely worth it.

Also take a look at the Ecler Nuo2 and Nuo3. I would take a Nuo3 over any of the above mixers.

I think it's worth getting a DJM 400 if your getting a CDJ 200. I know it sounds dumb, or as a marketing gimick, but they really were designed to work with each other. I haven't read much about the Nuo3, however lots of people have mentioned them as good mixers, but they seem like very standard mixers, cept with really good sound quality. If you just wanted something really standard, then the Vestax 002 is all you really need. But I think you'd be much happier with a DJM 400, personally, but it's all up to you, just have to go to a Guitar Center or any store that sells DJ equipment and play around with the mixers and see which one you like the best. I don't think with DJ equipment, you can just base things off of what you see online, it's a really hands on experience. Try before you buy really..

yes... exactly what spirit said, who has been very helpful for me as well... if you were to get 2 pioneer cdj-200s and a pioneer djm-400 thru djdeals, the total price is $1143. also, as other people have recommended on here, check out www.agiprodj.com , I am still waiting on a response from them regarding the price quotes but I'm hoping it will be slightly cheaper than the DJDeals offer. BUT, before i do make any purchases i will be getting my ass over to guitar center wednesday to do a little experimenting like spirit suggested

Awesome. Could you let us know what agi says about prices? Thanks so much!

i personally recommend buying the CDJs together, the mixer and headphones etc separate. With the packages, you dont really save much, if anything.
