I agree. but there are times when crowd "noise" can be pure pwnage. an example of this is when Oakie turned off the sound in Silence on one of his EMs and the crowd sang along. thats crowd noise bliss right there...

similar stuff in Erick Morillo's set from Ibiza last year

air horns and whistles are annoying, but other than that...i like the crowd noise...usually those sets have more energy for me...

The crowd noise from this:

Is absolutely unreal... Makes the compilation!

When I hear the crowd noise during Three 'N One - Sin City, I get goose bumps every time!

Tiesto @ Impulz Outdoors from 2002 - when he drops "Universal Nation" at the end... just listen to the crowd and ignore the MC...

'nuff said...

sometimes it cracks me up,

I think the copy of tieso in concert 2 had it, this dutch dude interviewing the crowd making them answer all his questions in engrish, they were saying stuff like "yeah, its the melodies, and the boomboomboomboom" and one lady said "I am here with my son, he has a handicap!" and repeasted it 2 or three times, yeah, tell all the listeners that.

I dunno, that just cracked me up, it was right in the middle of the set along with the neccessary interuptions for other discussion on top of the music. That bothers me much more than crowd noise in these recordings, when people feel the need to talk gibberish in the middle of a set and turn the music down, even when you're in a chatroom with somebody who understands the language and you ask them what they are saying, they will be like "oh they're not talking about anything at all, just gibberish"

I like the sets where you can hear people going "oooh oooh" in rhythm with the music, that is fun.
