I never once said that Yoji wasn't a good mixer, DJ, producer or a talented person in general. Just b/c I don't like something doesn't mean that it's bad quality. To me his music is noise...not the genre of music I like at all. I didn't think I would like him, but I gave him a chance for a good hour and end up not liking it so I went into the other room.

So get your panties out of their bunch and relax. I very much so am open to other musical genres, which is why I even stayed in the KH for an hour while he was on to see if I would like him. I didn't...suck it up. Not everyone likes every DJ every time they spin...the exact same reason why many of you didn't like Armin's set at Decadence. I thought it was great. He has moved into a more proggy trance style and I like it. As for Yoji's hard-trance, I hate it, which to me = horse shit.

i agree with you totally on this one. yoji is a good performer/act on the stage. thats all i can give him. i went down to the kh just in time to see yoji open because i wanted to see what all the hype was about. i think i left the kh by the time he played his third track.

I would love it if he came back. Only because I was unfortunate enough to miss him this time. But, anything techno I love, so...

here is some great news i received from Yoji's manager regarding Yoji's current visit to KH

Yoji felt the crowd in Toronto was fantastic, he left feeling very happy to know that there were so many great fans here even though he had never been to Toronto. He is certainly looking forward to the next round.

Scot Project At Guv ??!!?? could it be ????? wait and find out

OMG! U made my day! yes, Yoji will be back, that's what he told us backstage after his set....

Now Scott Project?! Fuck Yes! That can be the second best night of my life

I think it will be great for the Toronto Scene if they start getting away from the "mainstream" DJs that come two or three times a year and bring in some of these lesser known (in Toronto) DJs.

Personally, I will give anyone a chance....its amazing how you end up finding something you like by just giving it a chance....The first time I saw Infected Mushroom I was like WTF is this shit going to be like....by the time they were done I was totally hooked.

PVD - rocks...No effin doubt about that.

Yoji is awesome too..

What I like about PVD is that he definitely falls in the same genre as Armin, Tiesto, ferry etc... But his sets are very different compared to the other three. Everyone different set of PVD has something new to offer. If I saw Armin every week - I would be bored of him but the creativity I have seen PVD offer in his sets - set him apart. This is what I liked about Yoji too...

Forget the cookie cutter hardstyle that Yoji or Dana brings. Bring us Pavo or Luna so we can witness real hardbazz!

I also liked the hard style beats as well......

it has been a long time since I have heard this kind of music in a club - reminds me of the days of my Omar Santana and BPM mixed cds from Moonshine - GABBA GABBA GABBA doo!! DARK DIRTY AND HARD!

PUMP THAT SHIT UP!

WOOT!
