For a start, I can't believe you even mention Riva and DARUDE in the same breath!

Secondly, yes, it resembles Stringer but it is the Riva 'fizzing' sound at the moment.

Thirdly, why not use it again? Despite 'Stringer' being one of the best (for me it was THE best) song of last year, it was hardly noticed compared to other anthems such as Urban Train!

Do you honestly think massacring the track structurally while slapping Danii Minogue's useless vocals over the top and naming it 'Who do you love now?' was HIS/HER idea. I think it's a safe bet that the record company did that!

Sorry for the slightly agressive nature of this post but I feel strongly about this issue!

it's a good song but it really does sound like stringer version 2.0 to me.. maybe i'll listen to it a few more times and my opinion will cahnge.. i did not like rank 1 - awakenings the first time i heard it, but now it's one of the hottest tunes of mine right now!

hm.. just arrived today on 12"... its a better track than i thought, but a lil' more clubby (read: mainstream?) that you could see jules caning..

i think its nice that riva are bringing their style out into the mainstream, its pleasant and trancy to listen to (far from cheesy trance!)

anyways, this new track is just screaming out for vocals, let's see how it turns out, should be good!.
