Yep, from any reputable dealer here in the states. It looks like $500 is the going price.

Where did you find them for $430?

I think I fucked up on the currency.

With a ST-150, you'd probably have to packege it up, send it back to Stanton, and probably pay a good chunk of money because it's not covered under warranty, and then wait for it to be sent back.

With Techs, you simply go to like 1200s.com buy a new pitch fader already on the PCB (without the click) and plug it right in, in a few days.

You just can't stand up to Technics availabilty in parts, and their dourability.

Not true... Just about all replaceable parts on the 150 are avalible on the net... Not to mention there pitch slider can be replaced with a vestax one. Most people on here already know what my answer will be with the stanton vs technics debate... Just use what you feel comfy with there both rock solid and trustworthy decks, for me it was the 150 that won me over. Think about it, tryed and true motor design which is 30 years old or an updated stronger version of the same motor? If you don't beleve me lift the platter off a tech and do the same thing to an st.150...

I got two ST-150 for $800+tax from guitar center. talk to the salesmen for a deal.

only drawback is that they weight 35~40lbs per turntable...

That's a good point (I'm assuming you mean that the Technics will retain it's value a lot longer than the ST-150).

I however, don't plan on selling the decks after I have them. Although that is something to keep in mind.
