france just thrashed germany

Portugal vs. Serbia & Montenegro was great.
Portugal was trying to break the serbs defensive play, while we attacked on our counter attacks with Dusan Basta, Milos Krasic, Bosko Jankovic and Milan Purovic.
Dusan Basta was playing very well tonight and was the best player on the midfield together with Milos Krasic. They took the ball a numerous times and played it right to the attackers or tried to attack on their own.
Milos Krasic could be considered as the Man of the Match after his soloperformances which lead to one very dangerous chance, and when he came through the middle, He also fixed a penalty, not to mention a red card that was given to Semedo.
Miljas missed the penalty, more right: Bruno Vale saved it to a corner kick. Everyone was lucky, But 30 seconds later they were all depressed, Awesome cross by Dusan Basta to Branislav Ivanovic who scored 0-2 on a header.
We played very tight, and Portugal couldn't do anything to our defenders in the middle, Stepanov had a huge game tonight.
well, yeah.
2 days ago we were "the best U-21 squad in Europe". now we're the only team not to have scored a goal, while playing at home. this quickly degenerated into a fiasco of 2004-olympics proportions 
there's still a chance if we beat germany 3-0 and france beat serbia. i'll eat my hat if we go through. but i don't have a hat, so there isn't a chance anymore.
Stepanov is a quality player 
so is the clone of Quim (perfect lookalike) you planted there in your goal, the guy had already done a monster exhibition against Braga in UEFA Cup last year.
Bruno Vale of them all really didn't deserve that 2nd goal, and the injury. Maybe Quaresma did, what the fuck is up with your crosses this week, and why the fuck did you risk a sent off by kicking that dude. Such a talented player yet such a scumbag. I'm ashamed of having thought he should have been in the World Cup squad.

I think some of your players didn't work as much as they should've, anyways, You can't allow a player to go through like Krasic did.
Stepanov sure looks really good, and I'm happy he's made it to this right now. Great player for sure.
Quaresma really had weird crosses, always shooting with the outside of his foot. Works twice a match maybe, but not 30 times in a row, Poor game by him..

Today is the day.
Final day of this group and all teams has got a chance to go through, It's a pretty tight group this one.
Serbia & Montenegro is second in this group and they're going to play without injured Mirko Vucinic who's left the U-21 team. He's not going to play the World Cup either. France is going to be really tough to beat, so we they're probably going to depend on the game between Portugal vs. Germany.
Would be awesome if Serbia & Montenegro could make it through as their last tournament together.

This must be the luckiest qualifying ever!
Haha, I thought we were out when I saw that Portugal only had 0-0 against the Germans. Then later on, when I checked whether we were through or not, UEFA.com shows that Serbia & Montenegro made it through, and all thanks to PORTUGAL!!!!!!!!!!!

I loved the game, TBH. Or at least the 7 minutes of injury time. And the "fight" between Quaresma and the german keeper.

Didn't watch the game, had a paper to do for tomorrow.
Looks like I didn't miss much, and France is the best bet to win the tournament IMO.
