Sorry, sweetie...that was when he was talking to Sophie Marceau (the hawt French princess...heheheh French princess ) and she was crying that she didn't want him to die when he was in the prison getting ready for death...

*tear*

Braveheart's battle scenes were still the best I've seen, CGI can't come close to 1000 extras all smashing into each other at once. Seeing battle movies like Gladiator, Troy and others just don't have the raw impact and pure "fight". For example, LOTR, a good flick, but not as intense as Braveheart.

Favorite part: "he rode into his bedchamber and killed 'em" morning star to the face, ***ouch***!

buuuuuuuut since we are talking about Braveheart and it was made before The Patriot, doesnt seem fair to even allow one in the same sentance as the other, nevermind comparing them.

Quality film, and very impressive for an actor turned director, and leading man.

Irish have st paddys day , us scotish have william wallace day! August 23rd..On August 23, 1305, after defeat at the Battle of Falkirk and eventual betrayal, Wallace was hung, drawn and quartered in Smithfield, London. Seven hundred years on, Braveheart has lost none of his power to lure pilgrims.

i love the first big army battle scene where the irish guy puts a sabre through someguys face. makes me quiver everytime.

top 5 alltime for me. cant really decided on a number one as there are too many classic movies like this. watched it probably a good 30+ times as i have the dvd right here.
