Bas, I've got to be honest with ya, I really dug the second half of this mix but just wasn't feeling the first for some reason...

I really liked the flow of everything after the Stan Kolev track, but for some reason, the first 3 tracks/mixes just really felt like they jolted me around a touch. Everything from then on is gravy - And I like the new kind of sound that's poppin' up in this mix so I hope you pursue it further.

In any event, this is, for the most part a real solid mix, and the programming from "Get There" on is tight as hell, so I'm sure that segment will get a ton of play from me over the next few weeks.

Keep up the good work bas - You are without doubt a very talented DJ

Thank you I'm definetly loving this new sound. Been getting a lot of positive feedback from some of the various parties Clovis and I have played over the past week

Nice chunky rhythms in here. A few tracks not quiet doing it for me but overall the flow was great and it all ended in a sweet little canter.

i gave it a listen
mixing is ok, but the math is off a bit on some parts.This isnt that big of a deal, as people wont notice it unless they really listen.
The programing though severely lacked for me.I like most of the tracks, but the flow just did not hook me at all.Youve got decent mixing skills my man, but id probably find tracks that arent beeing hammered by half of the resident/bedroom dj's in the world. before using it as a promo.
Just my opinion though.

The only beatport top 10 I see is Kris Menace - Jupiter, and I havnt seen anyone else on this forum use any of those tracks in their mixes...

Keep in mind this mix is a few months old, I recorded it sometime around the end of April/beginning of May. So yeah, alot of them have gotten some play in the past 2 months...because they're good maybe?

i browse beatport by genres, so overall top 10's are different.Im not hating just giving what i truly think.If real opinions are not good for you, then i wont bother listening next time.I think bas has some skill, this mix just wasnt for me.I get tons of promo cd's in the mail, and alot of these tracks are on alot of these promos too.

Hey man i'm not complaining, thanks for the review. I didn't think so many people would jump on you for the tracklist thing

And it's true, alot of those tracks have gotten play, and again...it's because they're good. I love hearing a mix where I only know a few of the tracks and the rest are a mystery, that's what makes them so great. But my limited resources, and the fact that I buy all my music, can only lead to so many fresh fresh tracks.
