I was down off of Cascade Ave today and some guy was offering tube steak for $1.50 an inch. Seems like pretty cheap meat to me! I can give you the street corner Mario and maybe you could check it out!

Dude, what exactly are you looking for? How much meat do you want! (I tell all the ladies that I have plenty.) I still am a chef and still can buy from places that you can not (ie, sysco, US Foods, Roma) if I know what you are looking for. So tell me what you are looking for and how much and I can see what I can do! If not GO TO H-MART!!

im looking for filet mignon...

how much is it @ sysco? where do u buy from sysco? we used to get our meat form there @ rosa.

You gotta have an account... There are sysco quick stored but not open to the public. (Hell I do not know if there is a sysco quick store in Atlanta, we used to have them in Texas.) How much you looking for?

Ok dude, 5 pounds is not alot in the grand sceme of things. Way too little of an amount for sysco. I might check Alda tomorrow and see if they have a tenderloin that comes in 5 to 10 lbs. (BTW a tenderloin in case you did not know is Filet Mignon!) If not I am still going say that your best bet is H-Mart, $25 or so for that amount. I will also go to my butcher on Monday and see what he has. Value is repective tot he quality and freshness, His shit comes straight off the cow hanging in the back, you do not get much fresher then that! I will let you know what I find out.

Kobe beef, anyone?

Last I check with US foods which is my distributor in the restauant was $50 a pound

but mininum was 10 pound so that's already $500 bux

Another great place I order quite a bit of food from is www.omahasteaks.com
