If that happens, surely Hollywood is dead (creatively)

...like they aren't already

Yes she was pretty good. For some reason I think Penelope Cruz would have been a pretty good fit too...

lol, well if Hollywood can't be creative by itself it can use creativity of others.

I reall think that making a movie which separates the facts from the fiction part of Da Vinci Code would be awesome.

Like a movie on the Knights Templar, Priory of Sion, Illuminati, Mary....

WOW!!

hehe...That was a bit unexpected. Also, the smacking Silas gave that nun, that was brutal...

i dont think she sounded french at all

however in Captain Correli's Mandolin she had a perfect greek accent

her accent is too harsh to be french

I really enjoyed the movie ! Its definately worth a watch IMO. I wasnt even thinking about all the hype or bs surrounding it. Just went to see a movie that was appealing to me...and it was good!* I have not read the book either..I may now though*

I said "OOWWWNNED" when the nun got knocked out quite loudly and got a punch in the arm from one of my friends sitting next to me. I'm waiting for the DVD so I could make that sequence into a gif.

The car crash was cool too.

yeah my gf pinched me when i was laughing but she giggled too so whatever

BTW, the Smart chase sequence was quite possibly THE WORST CAR CHASE I'VE EVER SEEN. The camerawork was atrocious - blurry, too zoomed in, etc etc.

+1

I made that comment as it was going on.

I saw it. I liked it. I was entertained.
I'm glad I trusted TA opinion's without even reading a critic's bad review.

Saw this as part of the 'all-nighter' at the Guelph drive-in. It was the second movie shown - and it was raining enough that we needed to keep our wipers & defogger on, and we still couldnt really see the picture itself. Most of the movie seemed like it was filmed in the dark, making it hard to see for us.

I guess we'll have to wait till it comes on video! My review will be very late so maybe I'll dig up this thread in a few months
