Although I thought the music was kind of lacking, I had a good time with my friends. Great to see you guys out. Until next time...

What a great fucking night this was.

Started the night out early - 8pm (with no catnap as originally planned), at the 613 for a little pre-party t00nage.... jon jon, myself, teh harcourt, and rj the magnificent played some back to back sets that lasted well into 2am. Then myself and ShitNBears head over to Sonic.....

Like many have already said, it wasn't the best night musically (we have been spoiled in the early weeks so far).... but crowd, vibe, and all the other elements were totally on point. We arrived to catch the end of Cajjmere's set, and from the response of those who caught it - he did a great job. Matt C took over around 3:30, and he seemed to take it in a different direction. It was melodic, sometimes a bit repetitive and almost a little dated... felt like he was playing a lot of older tracks. His last hour, however was fucking SICK. He played a small portion of tasty breaks, and that lead him into a string of 6 or so tracks that were just amazing. Sean came on as scheduled at 6:30 or so, and I was kind of disappointed. I think we were all spoiled with the set he hit us with the week prior when opening for C & C, and were expecting the roof to blow off for his headliner slot.... but it really didnt happen until later in his set. Things came together for Sean around 8:30, where he took his sound to the dark and chuggy waters..... and those who were still around were eating it up!

And yet again, another no show for the carwash crew..... i think they called up all their hot 'girlfriends' to take their place. Overall a great night, and I enjoyed myself just as much (or more) than i did for Chus and Ceballos. There is something about these 'sleeper' nights that is very appealing to me, cant quite put my finger on it.

I was asked to then spin an afterparty.....started at 11:30, next thing you know i look at my watch and it's 5:30pm.... needless to say, i was wiped - but it was a blast. Probably going to do the same next week

See you all next week for a little dirty TP.

that sounded gross...

Hey guys question....what did you think of Cajjmere Wray?

I had no idea he had a gig at sonic...I was surprised to see his name up here because I went to a club on friday night....FIVE....and was totally impressed by this DJ. Well I was totally drunk and woke with his card in my purse....I went to a couple clubs but I assume that I got the card from the club which I enjoyed the music most which was Five.

Re-taw-ded. My brain had definitely been shifted into neutral by that point. I still can't remember who I'm confusing you with.. bah just shoot me now.

ps. jimmy is what oldschool & I call ourselves and anyone assimilated into the jimmy-culture (like lil Graham).. it's a long story.

He was indeed that! My girls and I had a KILLER time there, we got in early so we caught his entire set. I am itching to hear him again, and I read he is opening for Honey Dijon in June so it will be a double whammy for me and the girls!

(p.s..MissK i'm jealous you've got his card! lol)
