i'm not really a sparkling water snob...it all taste the same to me. besides, i always put a slice of lime in it, or if i don't have limes, i do a little squirt of lemon juice, which i always have in my fridge.

Most if not all sparkling water tends to have very high sodium content aka NaCl aka salt.

Seeing as I have been on a salt free diet for almost 2 years, I notice it very easilly in stuff, and sparkling water tends to be the worst to me tastewise ( but Perrier is one that is still bearable to me ).

try some "vichy catalan" if you can get hold of some in your area, very distinct taste and very nice
