Or you can be the guy who doesn't take crap from anyone, and will eventually change things.
That's what I want to do, at least. I've got the "Doesn't take crap from anyone" part pretty much down.

You mean the loser who talks a lot of crap and eventually gets his ass kicked by everyone including both sexes? Yeah, don't do that because people like you either go nowhere or become like Hitler and Stalin. We need fewer of you.
If you are going to get involved in politics expect to be a quick thinker and good public speaker.
And you can also be corrupt you have a slim chance of getting caught.

Wait, you forgot about the other side. Ghandi, teddy roosevelt, MLK, Rosa Parks... Need I say more?
Maybe you should brush up on your history.

No, my history is pretty good. What you have forgotten is to include George Bush and Ronald Reagan since they also don't take crap from anyone.
You want a leader who actually best represents "not taking crap from anyone"? Its Carter(the most recent and greater example than Rosa).
I mean the thing with Rosa is that she was old and tired and didn't want to move its not like she had it all planned out.
brb.

She was 43 years old at the time! She was a secratary for the NAACP from 1946-1956! She spent her time with the NAACP to improve african american life! Of course it was planned!
HOLY SHIT!
Once again, brush up on your history!
