still not sure why they would choose Barthez over Coupet but whatever...
Swiz vs Korea game will be the most important match of this group, france should get through easily, but dont see them going far in the rest of the tourney.

Well, a rumor says Zidane imposed some conditions for his comeback. Barthez n1 was one of them.

@Fast > You don't like the squad only cause giuly is not there

Other rumors say Pires wasn't taken cause he fucked Domenech's wife a long time ago

Posted by fastmp3 on May-26-2006 08:38:

Pezzy i'm the last person who expected Giuly to be chosen for the WC, seriously :P

Really, compare Switzerland's performance with that of Korea's

Posted by InDeepSpace on May-27-2006 02:31:

Switzerland on 1, France with much luck on 2 (their coach is jus shit, but no one is more shitty then Advocaat lol)

Posted by fastmp3 on May-27-2006 02:34:

wow Switzerland to finish first ? impossible

Posted by InterMilan31 on May-27-2006 04:33:

Korea is gay the only way they advance is that they pay off the refs again

Posted by Glenn-Holmes on May-27-2006 08:35:

again a group with no big surprises at the end at least

france first
switzerland second

Don't forget that we win the WC in 98 with Leboeuf, Karembeu, Diomde, Dugarry and the big striker Guivarch

Posted by Iyrlk on May-27-2006 11:21:

ooh didn't know about this till just now

as a korean, i do admit that refs were sometimes highly biased in the 2002 world cup. yes, we were lucky and maybe even paid off some referees, yea but no one really knows so yeah.

anywho, korean team is stronger than ever. but they still are not that good. but im willing to bet that we will own swiss. ive seen how swiss played these days, and come on, how you expect to beat korea? dont even try comparing speedwise, you are simply sh*t at fighting for the ball, and guess what? your defense isn't that good. i know korea's defence isnt that good either, but everyone on the team will chase and knock down swiss' attackers even if its the last thing they do. what about the swiss team? i dont see motivation. don't get pissed off or me though. let's watch how it turns out. and i havent seen the french team play yet, so i reserve my judgement till i do.

and fyi i bet on 13 matches last world cup and lost 1 on one only. i hope im as lucky, i won like $1200 ^^

you?
You mean FIFA, right?
FIFA would be silly if they wouldn't leave Korea reach at least till the Quarter-Finals so they could attract the attention of the Koreans, sell more tickets/products etc.
