I still think they are great tracks even now......

Either Jones & Stephenson - First Rebirth or Nostrum - Brainchild. Not sure wich one it was since it's so long ago. Those are the first two trance tracks I fell for, I had been hooked on EDM before that.

I first heard Darude - Sanstorm and Cosmic Gate - Exploration of Space at my 7th grade school dance. I had thought they were the same song so I asked the DJ what the song was called and what some other songs were like them and I've been hooked ever since.

First track that kinda got me into trance was Ti�sto's Adagio for Strings mix (how original), but the song that really pretty much sucked my life and made me ask myself "why am I here... why do I listen to other things when this is the key" was ofcourse, Airbase, Genie (Airbase.......... YOU RULE!!!!!!!!!!!)

The track that got me excited about trance would probably be a tie between System F - Out of the Blue & Delerium - Silence (Tiesto ISOS Remix). Although I don't really listen to much trance anymore those song still brings back old vibes like no other.

+1, in addition to a few oakenfold cds. I also had an old school mix cd from my older brother, "Only for the headstrong, the ultimate rave compilation." and the Prodigy - G-force(Energy Flow) song really had an impact on my musical thoughts.

That all opened a lot of doors for me to get into trance, and really edm in general.
