I'm quite happy with the fact that I'm managing to become who I want to be, although I don't think I'm as calm as I'd like to be. This has been changing a lot tough, as I'm nowhere as anxious as I used to be. Perhaps in a couple of years I can achieve my "real" goal (as I'd strive to death if I pursued an "ideal" one).

Also, I'd like to be a more practical person: I'm still lost within theory, but I'm changing that too - I'm now working out and taking dance classes, so I can learn how to deal with this body I've got and use it

I can't choose between...

- Procrastinating
- Being more open in front of people I don't know, especially females

I would be less of a procrastinator. I will do anything to avoid doing something i don't feel like doing

I wonder whether this isn't something common: I do this frequently, and from what I've read in this thread (and many times before), people often seem to do this.

Nothing. I'd change society instead.

i wish i wasnt the by product of a lifestyle obsession. i wouldnt have decided to become an investment executive if the $$ wasnt there because i want a nice car/wardrobe/house, but we are all guilty of it.

Rasta

I wish i had a little more confidence with girls.

it's not like i have a problem with girls, persay.

i just wish i could approach women that i like at any given moment in a natural way.

Posted by Spirit5 on May-28-2006 05:24:

I would be fatter because I'm too skinny (around 112). I would be taller because I'm pretty average to short for a guy (5'5) and I would be more muscular because I don't have much in the way of muscles (I don't lift). I would also have less anxiety and stop caring what people think about me so much...and actually have the confidence to go up to a girl and start talking to her. haha I could go on and on, i'm pretty pathetic...

Posted by PaperBag831 on May-28-2006 05:26:

there's not an exact problem with me.... but i wish guys didn't suck so much when it comes to calling back! or maybe that means i wish i weren't so horny all the time... cause then i wouldn't care

Same here. I've had lots of girls as friends over the years, and still do, but I can't just go up to a girl and start chatting without turning out to be a nervous wreck, unless she starts talking to me first, and then i'm usually okay. I have to be in the right situation, like in a class in school or at some event going on...or online...I hate coming across nervous or not knowing what to say, even though this is often the case...

I've been meaning to record a demo mix since February.

procrastination.
The ability to articulate what I mean better.

Anyone who has caught me posting then deleting knows that.

I do honestly think I have improved many of my shortcomings recently including confidence, self-pride and drive/determination.

I would improve my mental awareness. Sometimes Im so off into my own world that I cant recall if I had taken a shower that day or not

All guys have approach anxiety (of beautiful women) because it's wired into the genetic code. If they say they don't they are either lying or understand well the following two concepts (and how to use them):

courage and momentum
