....as a former Buffalonian (but still a Buffalo Sports Fan) and currently living in NC ...married to a Carolina boy.....tonite has a lot riding on it....including a friendly bet in our household....

fucking McKee has an infection in a cut on one of his shins from a shot he blocked in the Ottawa series.

It's not a staff infection, thank god, but his leg swelled up overnight on Wednesday morning, and they had to rush him to the hospital.

like you guys said, gotta give them a lot of credit for making it this far with so few defencemen.

i remember a couple of years ago when buffalo was so bad and they were blaming it on Ruff for their troubles. and now when i see them come this far it really give me hope that the leafs can bounce back just like the sabres did.
