the MLS is for three types of players:

A. young players that are still developing and are hoping to get noticed by a european club

B. guys that aren't good enough to play anywhere else even in their prime

C. old veterans that still want to play and get paid

the MLS has gotten a lot better than where it was when it first started but there wasnt anywhere else for it to go but up.

This will not happen for some years. Red Bull is trying to be like the New York Cosmos big ideas and even if they do this it will just ruin the MLS even more like the Cosmos did!

i don't know.. Red Bull are crazy in marketing, they could sell dogshit if they wanted to.

No, you seem to have missed the point. People who call football 'soccer' are morons. I am well aware that this is the norm in America. Draw your own conclusions from that.

BBc call his football show =soccer six
sky one sometimes use the word soccer as deffenition of football
Americans just too uptight to call it football lol

we arent uptigt to call it football... we just have anohter sport that is already called football... so we call it soccer to not confuse us...

i think the US should have called our football soccer in teh first place so none of this would have risen up... oh well, too late now..
