Some sort of beer, prefferably with a good taste like Newcastle. Or vodka/redbull make it a triple.

lot of tequila with kass (lemon soda) before i get in front of mixer then a lot of water during set

if i'm at home, some beer are ok.

water

beer or gin n tonics "hmmmmm....fresh pine scent!"

coke or redbull
no alcohol while work

my choice: water&redbull

i usually start with a redbull or 2 if it's been a long day
then double vodka/cranberry, double rye/coke, guiness, or any canadian beer for the rest of the night, i usually don't mix and will stick with one choice all night, spare a shot or 2

if i'm playing afterhours then i'll have a couple in the car before i go in then start with redbull and go with water the rest of the night interspersed with a redbull or 2

drinking and djing is a skill that is learned

i've played private parties where i've blacked out behind the decks because i kept getting fed booze and next thing i know, waking up in a bed

after the black out point, i continued to play for some time, rather well apparently

Dos Equis, no less! Also, grey goose straight up. I try not to drink so much tho because then my mixes get quicker like tiesto lol and I like to smooth the mix out to where the naked eye doesnt notice (or should i say ear.)

Hahah @ blacking out. I played some house party over the weekend where they said I could drink whatever I wanted. I fucking drank all their alcohol. I had like 16 coors light, a few shots, some rum& cokes...next thing I know I ask for a drink and they're like..."we ran out of alcohol"

Good thing I was drunk by then...

Love that stuff, but not sold in Britian, and I cannot find anywhere to order it from.
You have it in france? and if so do you know anywhere to get it in bulk?

if its a late set is start off w/ sumthin a little lighter like alcopops (WKD, Bacardi Breezer) then move on to vodka an red bull as i start my set

greygoose vodka is nice.. but i would take that neat.. hahaha i wouldn't do anything that dumb when im mixing ..

Cola spiked with ketamine

really easy to find it in south west of france, or in spain (club or supermarket) but its hard to find it in britain or paris, perhaps you should try on spanish site ....

Used to really cane it in the end of the 90's, almost to a level where I thought I would turn into an alcoholic biscuit monster, then I met a good woman and got back into my sport otherwise good knows where I would be now.

I tend not to drink that much for this reason, 1 or 2 of whatever max.

I have passed out behind the decks
Fallen asleep whilst looking through my record box
Pissed on an electric cable by accident at an outdoor free party... SHOCKING!
Been so fucked that I didn't even comprehend what I was mixing.
In my wilder days I was given a line of K before a set being told it was something else. Bad idea either way I know. Had to postpone my set for about 2 hours.
Skidded in someone elses drink and cut my head open. Looked worse than it was.
Fell out with my girlfriend during a set (Drink fuelled) and smashed a pint glass on my head, didn't cut myself... god knows how.
Been so wasted that I actually have not been able to speak to anyone afterwards, very hard to speak to punters afterwards when you actually can't formulate words.

Hence, Nem is quite a sober DJ these days.

It is worth being careful if you get to DJ on a regular basis i.e. 3 or 4 times a weekend as very often promoters will use this as a way of either paying you or looking after you.

By all means have fun, just take care too.
