Wow, I'm just finally getting around to writing this now.. Wholy christ was I gone. I walked in w/ Aaron & Tammy (my hosts for the night and my keepers of secrets, bwahaha) and right away ordered shots (Rocky Mountain Bear Phucker? Oh sweet JESUS.. Damn you, Tammy) and from then on, nothing but doubles all night. From what parts of it I remember, anyways!

the Amazing Dennis Hahn (Yeah, that's right. I said it, you punk. :P You did a FANTASTIC Job last night in pounding out some top-level tunage and your progression to that point was just unbelievable. Thanks so much for the drinks and I vote the both of us get absolutely cranked soon and cook up some corkers!)
and last but not least Jenny (Wow, what can I say? Sorry I didn't take up your offer for a shot, but that bartender would NOT have let me take it.. For good reason. I promise to keep the average up, just 'cause 2 plus 2 really does equal 5. Thanks for everything, Hun).

Tunes of the night for me were Rock Me, 5 and Las Perillas.. There was one other one that *may* or *may not* have been included after I left, I haven't reviewed the recordings yet but my oh my, she's a belter. I hope it left PR proper fucked.

Thanks to everyone and everyone who made my birthday into a really entertaining one - It was bound to suck, but a last-minute decision and a few good people spun this one around big time. And around and around again.

alright, well now that my weekend is over and I am rested up a little, I guess it would be time to write a short review here.

As always, another amazing night at the PR!

Dennis you truly are amazing. You know how to keep the crowd pumped and jumpin (although I still think they were lacking compared to other nights, but I think it was a more drunk/sloppy crowd in general ) Thank you for a great set and the little bit of tech you brought with it

Ty.. we were rockin that corner for sure. Good times as always!
oh and thanks to you and Dennis to continue supplying me with my Gin & Tonics even after I said I was done drinking for the night. My head hurt just slightly Saturday when I woke up...

I had a blast on Friday... I was saying to Ty how absolutely exhausted I was even going into the night and of coarse it's the summer so I had no idea what to expect. It's usually those nights with little expectation that end up delivering!

Crowd got there fairly early and frankly I've never seen so much consistency in the room being full. It's easy to lose the crowd there if you play a track they don't like, especially because there aren't any crazy lasers or lighting to keep people occupied during filler tracks. Friday was busy from 11pm on to 2:15 and I thought that the crowd was especially up for it too. Five hours absolutely flew by and the next thing I knew, the lights came on and I was stuck explaining to the usual people why a curtain call was out of the question

As always the TA crowd lead the way in the energy department.. I think the noobies that come into that room feed more of your energy then mine and I'm okay with that!
I'm completely flattered with how many of you came in from near and far just to see little old me play in that tiny venue. Thanks everyone for your ongoing support. I'll be sure to keep these SOLO nights going every so often

For those of you that are interested in hearing it, the set was recorded in its entirely. I will be going through it this week and breaking it up into 3 parts and it can be downloaded off my website.
I'll keep you all posted!

It was actually surprising since I haven't seen so many people drunk that hardcore in rev in a long time. Made for some pretty good entertainment though.
