haha we were just hanging out with pascal and piet in the dj booth. they were AWESOME! so cool about it!

my review

Another nice LA trip with good music & friends.

We were really looking forward to this trip and it turned out to be the best party all around. Saturday we posted a thread asking if someone would pick us up from long beach (friends couldn't till late) and two TA's (Bob M & turbox77) offered to pick us up, Stephen ended up getting us because it was a shorter distance.. thanks buddy!!

We get to the TA meetup early so no one was there. started drinking right away and was drunk by the time the rest of the crew showed up Sushi was sub par but its ok.

We get to Spundae at around 10:30 to catch some of Randy Boeyer's set and some of K sky's and they were both good just didn't hear too much of them.

Then Piet of Rank 1 so amazing i dont think words can really describe it, lets just say about 20 years of djing makes you a very good dj and his new track with Alex M.O.R.P.h (live less ordinary) blew the roof off. Here are some ID's i remember that DA hasn't already posted i think..

Pascal of Signum was amazing too of course he plays a more techy harder style of trance full of ID's and some of the Signum productions, i think i heard the end of Harmonic in his set, but i did hear SOS and a hard remake of Delerium - Silence.

Big props to all the TA's we partied with, see you all in July for Armin/ATB/ & Martin Roth (night before)

I had an Amazing time!!! Rank 1..OMG he is unbelievable..everytimei see him, his sets are better and better. He is by far my favourite DJ!! It was fun hangingout with all the TA's from everywhere, wish we had more time to hang out...damnit!!! See everyone soon for Armin.. MWAH!!

Jem, hearing Brairwave (The mix of Breathing with the original and breaks dub mashed into one) literally almost made me collapse. That was an unreal moment, bro. OMG and when Piet opened with that on ASOT 250, I just lost it! I was so happy he played it in L.A. dude. WOW.

And yeah, Piet is an awesome guy! Real funny too. I wanna see that pic he took of Michelle's ass.

I saw that lineup...no way I can make it out, man. I got some things I have to take care of before I hit another plane, but rest assured, I won't be grounded for long!

Anyways... I had planned on not going to Spundae that night ("weekend off"), but Victor convinced me to Friday. And I'm glad he did, because I had a really good time I enjoyed the music a lot more than usual, largely thanks to his really great set in the back room. I'm still baffled as to why one of Southern California's best DJs (the only one with a show on DI's trance channel, if I'm not mistaken) isn't always playing in the main room...

Not only that, but I'm always amazed at the number of people that come up to me to talk about music and the scene any time I step outside When you think about it, there aren't that many clubs with such a pleasant atmosphere (not to mention staff). It's when you're somewhere else that you realize just how lucky we are to have Spundae every week well, except for tomorrow of course
