Ahhh the days when digi cams werent a dime a dozen...

I find the old 3.2MP cameras from 2-3 years ago took better pics than half the 5MP cams now...

i *do* have a 3.2megepixel camera and it *doesn't* take better pics then my friends' 5 megapixel camera

if its not bright enough then try playing around with the exposure
using full auto mode isnt always the best way to take pics.

my camera (EOS D30) has 3.11 Mega pixels.

Nothing. Those are fully automatic. You may be able to change white balance or exposure compensation, but that'd be about it...

Ive been using the powershot s45 for the last 3 years or so....Its on the bulky side, but the quality is outstanding....
