There's a handful, like usual.

X-Calator - Acid Configuration
D.E.E.P.E.R - Abstraction
Avalon - Circa (Deep Mix)
John Askew - Nailgun
Denga & Manus - Shadowsong (Store 'n Forward Remix)
Michael Dow - Colossal
Ottaviani & van Linden - Until Monday (John Askew Remix) <- needs tighter structure though
Genix - Red Vision (Karada Mix)

I'm also interested in the upcoming collab between John Askew and Nick Sentience on Discover Dark, which sounds promising.

Right now I'm loving Flowjob's album Support Normality. It reminds me of Ticon's album Aero, which is also fantastic. Some might label this Progressive PSY, but it's all the same to me; it's still trance.

Flowjob - Run Baby Run (Big Escape version) is the best track I've heard this year. I'd love to get more like this.

THC

I don't consider myself a prog or house head, as I have, y'know, broad tastes, but I do like both a lot.

I'm currently enjoying quite a lot of Jonas Steur's stuff for melodic trance.

A guy who like Oakenfold style Trance and Deep House. That is a very unique combination. But, coincidently I am doing a "trance" remix of OM records... Best of both worlds?

Thanks for the support, glad you are enjoying the tunes

i can understand how the new perfecto sound appeals more to prog/house heads actually.. since it's deeper & more groove orientated than most trance around atm (from what i've heard of it anyway.. ie, oakey's EM)

Due to the quality in the new 'progressive' which can bring in either prog house or prog trance, I can mix them all together, and it works. the housier stuff will come early on in, but there's some good progtrance at 128-135bpm that I can put inbetween it.

Posted by farley on Jun-09-2006 21:02:

It's more from late last year, but Haylon - Starfighter is one of very few trance tracks I've really liked in the last few years...it wouldn't even be that out of the question to drop if a set got banging enough, either (granted, that's pretty banging but still...it could happen)
