dude you suck.

actually you all suck.

i cant believe nobody showed up for greg j last saturday at elmo.

first of all, dirt bike kid was spinning some of the funkiest breaks i've ever heard. funk assault that was. back room was so fucking hoti was just downing beers thinking "its just 1030, i should not move now, im gonna lose all my energy for later on". but that dude just wouldnt quit with funk sooooo fucking awesome that i had no choice but to dance, go out for a bit, go back dance.. and so on.

THEN phat conductor came up with some mind bending old school shit and some wicked fucking visuals and same thing, dance - go out.

AND THEN greg j came up. as a admirerer of all that is funky (including you funky groove lol) lemme be the first to say "that was some funky ass shit".

that was some funky ass shit.

wow. i was in fucking heaven. i dont wanna sound like a litte bitch, but i really was. that was the best couple of hours in ages.

and here you are liam, saying funky shit is the shit (bad kind). funky anything is the best music for dancing and funky breaks is the shit (good kind) when it comes to bustin a move.

prove me wrong, bitches !!!

For those of you who want more sets/info, check the old thread: http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...ighlight=Breaks

P.S. More Stanton Warriors-style or Freestylers-style sets pls. Digging them both right now.

i dunno if you checked this out from a while ago, but its kinda like Freestylers-style. There is a part in there with a sample of Rage Against the Machine, pure gold! It kinda reminds me of when Freestylers threw down big-pimpin in the middle of their set at freedom.

Check It.

Hehe. I've noticed this too - that some of the greatest producers in the music biz have, quite frankly, crap musical taste when it comes to their own jukebox. Maybe it's because those crap songs inspire them to know what *not* to produce?

I don't think its crap, I just think its varied. We as EDM fans, would hope for an EDM album, but a lot of the time these artists did not grow up with EDM. Prodigy started out so long ago, how much material was there for them to listen to? Not too much.

The Back TO Mine series is just amazing, so chill, perfect.

Posted by Orko on Jun-09-2006 19:05:

I just finished listening to:

Adam Freeland - Tectonics (1999 album)
Very mysterious, and a bit dark. Some funk, some chill, lots of breaks. I really liked the sci-fi feel he had to the entire album, really allows you to get lost in it.

1. BLIM - Chronologic
2. Makesome Breakesome - Pig Chase
3. Ils - Tectonics
4. Leuroj - Isokora (Bushwacka! Mix)
5. Apex - Bangin
6. Audiowerk - Impulse Transmission
7. Tsunami One/BT - Hip Hop Phenomenon
8. 3 Mile Island - Liposuction
9. Motion Unit - My Mind
10. Proper Filthy Naughty - Stitch Up
11. Vigi & Flip - Freak Frequency
12. Layo And Bushwacka! - Deep South
13. Beber - Juvenile Delinquent (Tectonics Mix)
