I do not try to justify any actions taken by terrorists, nor do I condone them. However, i am a firm believer that every action causes a reaction. It is impossible to truly put oneself in the shoes of some of the people affected by US foreign policy as Westerner or American. If you a realist, you must truly understand that revenge and retribution have always factored into human nature since the beginning of time.Regardless of what is right or not, this is what makes all this useless violence almost impossible to change. Its a sad world right now on both sides.

The United States will no longer be the dominant hedgimony in world politics soon.China is destined to take that place and nothing much can be done. When the most populated country in the world becomes the worlds largest consumer society, heads will turn.It is no longer just a cheap labour/manufacturing solution, but a large dormant buying monster. They will take over the us not with soldiers, but its pull in the global economy.

There are alot of ways to stop China from dominating the planet, but its not ethical. Plus it would totally screw over the whole planet.

We are screwed on so many levels.

To bad it cant go back to the good old days, when England and France were major powers.

One thing Canada shouldnt sell any oil. Just sit on it. If people outside of Canada really want the oil. They will pay top dollar for it. That wont work, seeing USA and other countries would want to invade Canada for the oil. PATHETIC. Anyways can't wait to see the day when we dont need to use petrol for anything.

Reason why I brought the petrol into the picture, China needs it to keep on growing.

Let see Saudi Arabia going to run out of oil in like what a couple decades?

Who else has oil... Venezuela (?sp), Russia, Iran, Nigeria, etc.

One thing that Alex brought up... the enviromental standards in China, pretty much non-existant. The water over there is brown and full of dead people, only reason I know my brother went to China and saw dead people floating in the Yantzy (?Sp) River.

Interesting how China still considers themself Communist while their leader has died and many people in their country become wealthy and buying up goods like no tomorrow.

World going to be sleeping with a new asshole soon... China.

Can't wait to see what they will do with the largest army on the planet, seeing that they do have the largest army on the planet.

For sure do not want to piss them off.

Anyways nothing made sense, had to waste time.

Unfortunatly the americans use more Canadian oil and pay generally the same or LESS than us.Gotta love international ass kissing.

What are you going to do, bomb China?Thats like pointing a bb gun at a guy with a 12 guage shotgun
wont work.

PS.Jesse, when france and England were powers there were still major attrocities being commited with them.Imagine if the technology of today was available in those times. There would not be a world left.

There must be some fault lines near or running across China, just need a couple nice nuclear weapons to start a nice size earthquake to bring China economy back to the 3rd world.

Launching a nuclear attack on China is suicide for the western world. They have nuclear weapons and do not participate in the gradual disarment of nuclear stockpile.(i seriously doubt the americans are doing it either, and in russia its scary because of corruption and weapons sale on the black market.)
As soon as you launch a missle to China, you have 5 more flying your way.

USA for life

China will not influence the world's foreign policy/internal shit, just economy.

Power of numbers means nothing anymore militarily, as we can see when israel beat 6 countries 40 some odd years ago.

Or when Japan invaded and dominated China, blah blah.

placing nuclear weapons in fault lines are totally different then using a Surface to Surface nuclear weapon.

One thing with the economics we out source to India and China, who will China out source too when it become numero uno, seeing their corporations will love to make more money and save on costs? Out source to the rest of the planet?

def cheers to moore...he's got bigger balls than a horny elephant.
(don't ask) Fahrenheit 9/11 was an amazing movie, although i heard he chopped up a speech of one of the main guys that was interviewed, (i think there may be a lawsuit for that) making him sound for the war when he actually wasn't. Who's to tell what is the truth and what's not?
editing can be a beautifully dangerous tool.

I'm looking forward to finally seeing Bowling for Columbine in class next week
