| Originally posted by Demoted So let me get this straight, you'd be PERFECTLY fine if you wrote this book say in 2000, and it was considered a classic and everyone loved it. Then in the year 2070, somebody decides they will take your story, keep the same name, change the ending a bit, and put their name in as the author and you wouldn't feel it was in the least bit plagiarized and even a tad bit creatively violated. You sir, need to give it a rest. |

Sneaker Pimps - Sugar Daddy
was actually...
CJ Bolland - Sugar Is Sweeter <---Click
Sneaker Pimps don't have a track called Sugar Daddy. They do, on the other hand, have a track called Spin Spin Sugar.
Umek - Gatex (Armin van Buuren Remix)
Rank 1 - Awakening (Armin van Buuren Remix)
Dutch Force - Deadline (Armin van Buuren's Rising Star Remix)
Motorcycle - When the Rush Comes (Now that's just plain stupidity)
I remember finding 'Tiesto - Orgasm' years ago, turned out to be The Orange Theme
Is there an echo in the building?
I think I recall seeing Tiesto - Endless Wave at some point.Funny how many of the mislabelled songs seem to involve Tiesto. That's not a dig, just an observation.
However as far as the whole Tiesto/Adagio saga's concerned. No I don't agree with the way it was labelled and like someone said even though apparent full credit was given to the original artist (Samuel Barber lest we forget) a lot of people won't know or be educated on this. However the version by Skip Raiders was probably even more naughty since a few vocals were put over the top and thus a new title was given even though the theme was still very much Adagio.
Ferry Corsten's version had it more or-less right. Although Ferry's mix was based on the theme composed by Samuel Barber so it's questionable whether or not William Orbit should've got credit in this instance. Who knows, he might own the full rights to the composition now! lol
